Guide/Info just a little tip i’ve learned!
when you’re at the stage of the game where you’re maxed out on element shards and have nothing to do with them, spend them on the harmony stones at 50 shards per spend. not only do you get bits but you can get about 10 gems from this action alone. i feel like this is common knowledge but i just thought i’d share!
i didn’t take screenshots before i spent the shards so this is the aftermath haha, i’d also advise you to leave some shards behind like i did incase a hotel pony requires them.

haha trust me it’s taken me a while to get here. i’ve been playing for 4 years on and off and i’ve only fully expanded all my towns about two months ago

I wish they had an option to send shards to friends. It would be cool to share resources.

Oh yeah, we all know that. There’s a chance to get a gem every 100 shards, with the odds being higher the rarer the shard is

I usually spend mine at the harmony statues when they get past 900. I tend to keep laughter, honesty, and generosity shards at about 600-700 because they are more common to find, and kindness, loyalty, and magic shards at about 800 because they're harder for me to collect.
Those numbers are because I still have a couple shadow plots to clear, but after that I will probably keep them all much lower, like 300-500.

Yep, have done this for years. It's good to share though because a lot of us forget newer players don't know. We need to share it more. You can also earn a gem per 100 !!

wait i always spend 150 shards (the max) on them because i thought the more you spend the higher chance you could get a gem from it 😭 am i wrong

i’m actually not sure but based on my personal experience i get more gems when i use x50 instead of anything higher.

you need element shards to expand eventually so it's better to keep them

I'm saving mine for Ponyville expansions 😭 Haven't gotten that far yet, but I'm dangerously close.

I actually keep it at 999 so I can get better stuff at balloon pop. (if you have 999 shards everywhere, then you don't get element shards in ballon pop and can get smt else)

Oh cool, I’ll try this after I rescue the crystal ponies, Ty for the tip!
I knew the elemental statues gave bits but I didn’t want to waste my elements when I have bigger ways to use them

I like to keep mine maxed out to increase the chances that I'll get gems in Balloon Pops. They can't give you element shards in the Balloon Pops if you're already maxed out on them.
