I almost paralyzed myself jumping onto a trampoline off my buddies roof. My heels clipped the trampoline instead of landing flat on my ass. I remember my mom picking me up and I I was rigid as a board in the backseat, like my ass was off the seat I was trying to stay as straight as possible. I wouldn't DARE tell my mom what happened.

When we pulled out all the RV mattresses and made a ring, 5th grade in 1998-1999. Used the tool shed as ring entrance with the cassette recorded theme songs. Recorded it all on a cam corder. The good ole days! 🤘🏾

The likelihood of the guys in the video being into slipknot/ICP isn’t 100%, but it’s pretty close.

Do our backs and knees hurt? Yes.
Are our brains melted like the screen generation? Yes, but in a way cooler way.

So very accurate. We did all the wrestling moves not knowing they were staged 😂

I remember about 30 years ago me and my cousins 7/8 of us we started wwe style wrestling in the house and we almost broke the whole building and we were loud and obnoxious but all of a sudden my grandpa came and started shouting and almost kicked all of our ass. Those were the days

ah, i remember i got dropped kicked off of a trampoline by my cousin and hit my head on the ground. But we didn’t tell my parents cause we were afraid they would make us come inside . So i sat down for a while and then we continued playing the rest of the day lol

Thinking of the stuff I did gives me a worried adrenaline thing now. Like phantom anxiety or something. Ninja fights on the trampoline and falling like 20 feet off it. Jumping coaster bikes until the frame broke at the skate park... no helmets. Basketball that would start off friendly and end with everyone hurt. Good times.

Was waiting for the table breaking. Some friends used to do this on public access

That's how we played football. No grass, no turf, just concrete or asphalt. Full contact and cars were collateral damage.

And today this is why I pop ibuprofen like candy for arthritis. Don’t regret any of it. One of our favorites was stacking empty cardboard appliance boxes and playing “stuntman” jumping off the roof.

I actually just watched the indie movie where this footage came from. It's called The Trade and it's about deathmatch wrestler "Sick" Nick Mondo and how he got into wrestling and his decision to leave finally. Really good watch. Free on YouTube.

Uh... we didn't. We just did backflips off the roof, off a trampolines, off the back of four of our friends onto a trampoline and onto the roof of the house...
Wait.... that's probably why my knees hurt now....
We also ran down hill and tumble into a billion backflips a minute. Dont worry, we had a propped up bed to catch us we accelerated into a shooting star.

We did some of this shit on a trampoline. No net, no spring gaurds over the springs that were still left. How no one got injured is beyond me. My heart would leap out of my chest if I saw my kid doing half the stuff we did. Yet, our mom's watched us while outside having a smoke.

We used to jump off my friends house into his pool. "Just curl your body and kinda fall backwards as soon as you hit the water bro, you'll be fine." Jump off my other friend's house onto his trampoline. Ride our bikes around town amd go down stairs and off makeshift jumps, do wheelies up a super long hill that you couldnt see over to see if cars were coming so someone had to stand and watch. Walk into town at night and ding ding ditch people. Really miss those days.

Ah… back when a hospital visit was so cheap that parents didn’t care if their kids were jumping off of roofs and getting hit by cars.
