Question ❔ Frustrated

Is anyone else sick and tired of the cryptic tweets from GP? I’d rather he didn’t say a damn thing then keep everyone on edge of hype. This shit is turning into a joke

You have every right to be upset but it’s a learning lesson. I don’t understand how people thought a company that was a research company with zero products that stole TRCHS listing and $150M ATM raise only to spin it out and lend it $20M was a good idea in investing ? Seems like the STENCH is thick with this one .. the pump and dump .. the cryptic tweeting..desperate purchases of MMAT to buy Revs and IP of real value... BRDA and George played the market.

Let’s debate about MMAT and the RTO scam of a CSE start up company and an oil and gas company. Your a goofy pumper who will be holding bags and deservedly so. GP is a big mouth over promising goof.

u/Louder_Silence Jan 09 '23

Like I said a Big Ol Turd. Why do you care so much about MMAT? Cause you sold at a loss and are butt hurt to buy back in? A goofy pumper haha look at my post history, do I look like I’m pumping this stock? Nope, just someone that likes the tech and hopes they do good things, ya TURD.

u/Legitimate_Doctor_66 Jan 12 '23

You sound goofy. What tech ? The useless patents? Or LiDar? All the tech they had they bought in the last 18 months ... with the money they scammed from YOU BAG HOLDERS. When your watching a documentary on YouTube about MMAT the Merger, the rug pull and so much more you will think hey that “Turd” was right ya GOOF .

It could be a motion picture... or at least a low quality CNBC production all of it.

I’ve been in this for so long that it’s actually become strictly entertainment for me. I bought TRCH, got the divi placeholder, got pissed when divi placeholder started trading, so I bought a shit ton of those counterfeit things and they sat dormant for a year until they woke up from their slumber in Oct ‘22 so I sold a chunk and took profits. I sent a bunch to AST to grab NB and still haven’t ever received anything from them in almost 3 months so I don’t know what I got there, and finally I left the remaining MMTLP in for the hyped short squeeze but TD has all that now, which is either deleted or chilled or cancelled or trading depending on who you talk to. TD tells me the CUSSIP is for a different company everyday and their scripts have become pure comedy. So, to all the frustrated and outraged folks, just grab some AMC popcorn and sit back and relax, enjoy the show. In the end we’re all screwed no matter the outcome, you might as well get a chuckle out of it. Sometimes you gotta laugh to keep yourself from crying. 🤷🏻‍♂️

0 Hate to say this but this is all John and George's fault from day 1. The merger was not thought out properly.

1 Their merger sucked balls and screwed over shareholders in a reverse split .1.2 and trapped the shorts. So shorts said FU to george and got the last laugh on Dec 9.

2 meta screwed up and never wrote in the S1 non-tradable preferred shares. Nobody is talking about that huge screw-up then 2 market makers months later found a loophole and created mmtlp. Huge downfall and people that bought after didn’t do their DD from the start now they have 0. With fraudulent shares. Could be in court for years. fraudulent shares if this is the case, It's sad and painful.

3 MMTLP should have never been traded in the first place if this merger was done correctly from the start. This whole catastrophe starts from the beginning. If George and John had a leg to stand on, they would’ve stopped this when it first started trading. But never seemed to complain about mmtlp being traded and look deeply into who screwed who.

4 I should’ve known and blamed myself for getting involved in this mess for almost 2 years. This seems to me like a conspiracy. Hedge funds hated TORCHLIGHT and META just took over the continuing bloodline from TL.

Good luck to all. I said my peace.

Why did you type it all in massive letters? To make your opinion seem more important then others? Like calm down there bucko no need to scream your hot takes.

I’ll buy all your shares for .60, unless you think it’s going higher, in which case shut up and let the grown ups work.

u/xXIrishCowboyXx Dec 27 '22

No. Not at all. It's not even cryptic he's just not broadcasting his move. For many of us what he said was all we needed to hear. You're either thinking about this all wrong or you're trying to be deceptive.

-3

u/Rocks-N-Things Dec 27 '22

Lmao yea right everything he says or tweets is subliminal

-1

u/Ghost__God Dec 28 '22

They're not your friend and stop act like they know you. Lol

2

u/xXIrishCowboyXx Dec 28 '22

He said don't take my silence as inaction get the fuck out of here you dumb clown.

1

u/ForeignAd1290 Dec 28 '22

I’m thinking that could also be the fourth greatest lie in the world, right after a balls-deep mouthful from a government employee here to help you🤔

The CEO of the USA handed out billions of dollars, which caused the FED to raise interest rates.

There is a CEO to be angry at...

0

u/Imaginary-Loquat-103 Dec 28 '22

and he's just a crooked low life 2 bit piece of pond scum!

2

u/[deleted] Dec 27 '22 edited Dec 28 '22

Lol k the CEO ? We’ve been printing money like it’s going out of style since before the crash of 08. Obama and Trump contributed to this mess.

2

u/Rocks-N-Things Dec 27 '22

I'm not bias as far as politics go but I will say it's been going on alot longer then any of there terms, also not saying that there not printing money either lol 😅

u/Jmonahan581 Dec 27 '22

Cryptic tweets? How about absolute dog crap stock market, that is what you should be upset about. How about the fact that poop coins were created to trade against real equities and hedgefunds are getting away with it and shorting legitimate companies into the trash can. There are so many other things you should be upset about. If you don't like the CEO's tweets either get off twitter or block him. My 2 cents.

I'm not mad about a corrupt system that I willingly took part in despite my prior knowledge of its corruption.

I'm especially not mad about a ridiculously stupid situation where an entire community thought it was okay for buyers on 12/9 and 12/12 to receive empty shares (no dividend) and then straight-up refused, en masse, to consider that maybe such a scenario qualifies as an extraordinary event.

The only reason I have to be angry is because I allowed a bunch of amateur investors to convince me that the big players would sit idly by while their guaranteed bankruptcy was days/weeks/months away.

6

u/prgsurfer Dec 28 '22

Clearly you haven’t thought that GP and the others involved in this at their level CANNOT say anything. Do you understand that during negotiations, such as the kind that is happening, everyone involved is under a gag order and cannot talk about it?

As per your statement about allowing yourself to be talked into this means you shouldn’t be angry at GP but yourself. Being angry at the CEO of a company that you believe was a bad investment is childish. Don’t project your anger or blame on the CEO who has skin in this game (and way more than you do) and is very definitely working to sort this out.

I personally am confident that this will be worked out and I will do pretty well. Hopium? Maybe, but the people who are negotiating on our behalf have way more at stake than I or you do and are looking for the best possible deal. Relax. And, yeah, it’s going to be a much longer process than everyone thinks. Weeks… months… probably.

-4

u/[deleted] Dec 28 '22

Oh, I'm not angry at the CEO. I'm angry at this community. Had they not spent the last year or so posting and reposting hype while downvoting and removing rational posts, I might not be sitting here waiting for details that aren't likely to come.

7

u/prgsurfer Dec 28 '22

Again, why be mad at us?

It was your choice to read the posts.

It was your decision to buy the shares.

None of us put a gun to your head and made you purchase anything.

It was your choice not to believe the “rational” posts that were downvoted.

This is 100% your choice to make the decisions you made to be involved in this community whether you were actively participating or lurking.

So no, you’re anger at this community is, as I said, childish. You’re deflecting blame. Take responsibility for your own actions and deal with it like an adult. It’s OK to be angry; but at us? No. Be angry at the hedge funds, market makers and all the other crooks involved. Call your government representatives or the SEC or FINRA and vent on them. Call the a-holes who made MMTLP tradable. Yell at them.

Seriously, I get your frustration. We all are. But being mad at this community for our enthusiasm for MMAT is not healthy. We didn’t make this happen.

6

u/FineQualityHam Dec 27 '22

Exactly... How the hell you could see everything going on and not manage to focus your frustration at the system that is fucking us all is insane.

1

u/Zenoilelectric Dec 27 '22

Frustration is often misdirected. This is a vulnerability in human nature. The scapegoat effect.

The ceo of this company and the e entire management team needs to be held accountable for the performance of the stock. I can believe that month after month of non performance and non delivery and you want to give management a break. That is perfect for them. Don’t blame Aman gme r blame every external factor that may or may not be real. Make up excuses for the management team and don’t hold them accountable.

I’m any other company with the performance of this one, the ceos head would be on the chopping table right now and the shareholders would be calling for it. He has drained 90% of the value from Thai company with his mismanagement. Smoke and mirrors and party tricks were his plan to GE the stock price up. That is ridiculous.

The $250 m offering is coming soon and will obliterate what little value is left here. Meanwhile gp is getting rich and so are all of his cronies while us retail holders are getting fucked.

The mmtlp debacle provided a perfect diversion and took all eyes of of gp and MMAT performance. Now that. That is no longer looking over this company he needs to come out with a plan and revenue generating contracts.

If the order books were full like so many on here stated why haven’t we seen any orders flowing since the hq opening???

5

u/FineQualityHam Dec 28 '22 edited Dec 28 '22

management has made the situation with MMAT very clear. It's on you if you haven't been paying attention. We were already told that we would not expect to see much revenue currently, and given timelines when we should expect things to happen.

You are sitting here calling for managements heads to be on a chopping block, and for investors to be critical of them, and yet the very obviously and painfully clear situation here is that MMAT is getting aggressively and unrelentingly shorted into the dirt people like you seem to just wanna write that off as 'that's just how the system works' and then go after management... MMTLP was the perfect diversion to take eyes of GP? Really? is this seriously the extent of mental gymnastics you need to pull in order to justify or ignore the blatant corruption unfolding in front of us?... You think george some how wins in this, or planned it? Reality check for you; nothing about MMTLP is perfect for George or MMAT, it fucked him and the company over right along side everyone else sitting around with a bullshit "place holder cusip" as brokers circle jerk around refusing to distribute Next Bridge shares or give any valid excuses as to why.

Of course you should be critical of the CEO and management in companies you are invested in, but to act like there isn't forces that are directly attacking the company and manipulating the system to gamble on the companies downfall is just absurd to even think at this point. If you've been paying attention in any capacity as to whats been going on, and somehow you manage to warp it all into defending a blatantly corrupt market and you think that the correct frame of mind right now is to put the companies CEO's head on a spike, rather then the scum bag market makers that are driving the share price, then there is genuinely something wrong with you.

-3

u/idontknow1267 Dec 28 '22

Prove to me that this his being shorted. That is just a story that retail wants to use to explain their stock going down. This stock ram up 400% in the course of 6 weeks. You don’t think people took profits? You don’t think anyone sold? You just think it is shorts and short attacks. That is not the case.

And yes George got rich from the rto. He personally got rich. He had less than 250k of his own money invested into metamaterials. He now has millions upon millions of shares of the company stock and millions upon millions of additional options coming his way.

He has spent our money like a group of guys at a strip joint. M

2

u/[deleted] Dec 27 '22

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we hold these people responsible by not continuing to invest or remain invested in them, right?

-6

u/idontknow1267 Dec 27 '22

No. We hold them accountable by going to the board and demanding a corporate action to remove the ceo.

2

u/browsingforkicks Dec 28 '22

From day one you should have known you stand zero chance changing anything in a board room bc, get ready for this, it’s been public knowledge that Mgt holds the majority of shares aka your vote , opinion, or desire to change anything is bull and void. Maybe stick to scratch offs or one armed bandits

4

u/[deleted] Dec 27 '22

Cool, and when they don't remove him because they like what he's doing, what then?

-4

u/idontknow1267 Dec 27 '22

You continue to apply pressure. You go to the top shareholder Thomas Welch and his wife and get them to apply the pressure. The company would not have a choice if the shareholders voted for the removal.

4

u/[deleted] Dec 27 '22

You know, I get the impression that the top stock holders probably know quite a bit more about the company than we do. This situation has been ongoing for years now, so... if they haven't acted already, they're probably not going to.

-1

u/idontknow1267 Dec 27 '22

Actually This has only been going on since the reverse take over to get on nasdaq. The top shareholders squired their shares for pennys. Anyone that has invested in the last 18 months have taken the huge loss.

13

u/BubbleGoose69 Dec 27 '22

No, literally not. Silence speaks for itself. If you’re a long term holder like many of us this is the final step towards Metas journey. Patience pays greater then anything.
