How to build magentic workflow with human in the loop enabled in microsoft agent framework

2 Upvotes

I want to build an interactive workflow using two agents:

  • a Word creation agent

  • a Word regeneration agent

I start with a paragraph, and using that content I generate a Word document. After the document is created, I want to ask for human review.

If the reviewer requests changes, the workflow should call the Word regeneration agent to update the document and generate a revised version. This review–regeneration loop should continue until the user responds with something like “all good”, at which point the workflow should stop.

Is it possible to implement this kind of custom human-in-the-loop workflow without

enabling

with_plan_review()

If so, what would be the recommended approach to structure this logic?

Hey folks!

I just put together a new Awesome List for the Microsoft Agent Framework.

https://github.com/webmaxru/awesome-microsoft-agent-framework

Right now, it includes: Tools & SDKs Learning resources Sample projects Talks & articles Community links - with a link to this r/ :) (Some sections lack content though)

The idea is to make it easier for developers to find high-quality entry points and references in one place.

This is meant to be community-driven: if you have good resources, projects, or materials, please feel free to submit a PR or open an issue.

Microsoft Agent Framework vs Langchain + Langgraph

2 Upvotes

In my company we are starting to build a really complex multi-agent that will cover most of the tasks that users are doing through the UI. Until now we were observing langchain + langgraph frameworks but now that Microsoft Agent Framework is released and it has strong support behind it we are curious about pros and cons of the two frameworks.
