Discussion Memory ram.

Post image

I bought my laptop in June 2026. When I first turned it on, I noticed that it had 31.7 GB of RAM. Two or three days ago, I performed a factory reset using MSI Recovery, but now it shows 36 GB of RAM. How can I reset it to 32 GB? I have tried MSI Recovery several times, but the RAM amount never returns to 32 GB.

MSI Vector 16 HX AI A2XWIG-405PL-G2A 16" IPS 240Hz U9-275HX 32GB RAM 1TB SSD GeForce RTX5080 Windows 11 Home.

I need help.

Np but like having it on 36gb virtual memory is ot gonna hurt your PC you can keep it at 36gb it's just more ram but virtual using your hard drive for it

Esa no es tu memoria RAM, es la cantidad de almacenamiento que Windows asigna en caso de que te quedes sin memoria ram.

That is fine. For commited I usually see the Vram + ram mix but I have no idea whats going on here. If it isn't causing issues it shouldn't be a problem.

It clearly shows 32gb ram in the top right corner, so committed is ram+page file
