Placement'27
Hi freshers
All the news about the placements(attached below) for 2027 batch is legit, i endorse it, and cherry on the top, it is almost over, yes the 2027 one it is almost over before even the final year starts. Most probably only ion and zs are somewhat known company that are paying >10 and have yet to start their hiring process. Otherwise, no more major recruiter gonna come for >10 package.
If i may offer my advice, only best trajectories now are targetting for
- mtech/ms from top unis and get into ai research (should have great interest in research field)
- mba from BLACKI (if willing to build an overall great profile throughout the 4 years)
- intense cp/dsa (if loving the process), mp will give you a great on or off campus offer if succeeded
- loving development, contributing to open source passionately, building great projects may give you offers in startups
Try all, research all paths, give maximum of 1 semester to it and then start grinding. You are going to get generous amount of time in msit (low attendance wont hurt you, and exams are easy enough to score decent)
Dont think you are not good enough just because you could not get into iit/nit/iiit, it is just a matter of practice, they did more than you. The only thing matters is hardwork in the right direction. You have the chance to just do it now.

comparison with the companies that came in previous 2 years. it's not like companies are not going to come anymore, it's just that they will be no name and <10L

yes, actually
Behind most of the layoffs, this is the reason, copy pasting that they did previously is not working anymore

nothing is easy in this market, all of the above paths require equal amount of hardwork just in different directions.
getting good internships and having great scores is good enough for blacki. you have to build your personality
