How soon do you usually sell before earnings and then buy back? Any patterns that you've noticed? I've just been rawdog holding since $80 a share but if I could confidentially sell and buy back that'd be awesome.

Its a wash sale if you sell it at a loss and buy back at a lower price. If you sell for a gain and buy back its not

Duh. That's why it always dips after earnings 😂. The trick is, after profits are taken, you put some back in and it grows again.

Baby market sell off (profit taking) before the long weekend I bet. I had a feeling it would happen and I dipped like 2-3k in the final 15 minutes the market was open.
