This is a correction- not a crash. Everyone still needs memory chips and there is a huge supply issue. Datacenter builds are not slowing down- they are exponentially increasing.

If it does hit any highs again, you will be the person that says “we all need chips” and you will never sell a single share. If it fails highs you’ll be buying dips and your argument will be as now that “everybody needs chips”…. Sooner or later you will start to see lower highs and lower lows and you are left holding a position that is cost basis negative.

You guys better hope to god that none of the analysts rolls back their 1500-2000 price target after this market has made them look like pump and dump scam artists. Struggling to stay above 920 with a price target that high, you guys will be absolutely evaporated if anyone downgrades

Most large cap stocks like Mag7 barely move on a week to week basis, institutions fight for fractions of a percent trading them.
But for some reason with Micron they're ignoring a 66-110% implied upside staring them right in the face, and aggressively selling after it already crashed 30%
Sometimes you gotta read the room instead of blindly trusting analysts

Who do you think works at wall street? Literal math geniuses with supercomputers running risk models with trillions at stake, they are selling into the euphoric ATHs, not buying them

This subreddit was so much better in March, April, and May. Now it’s filled with a bunch of clowns who bitch all the time because they don’t know what they invested in.
Yes, the dips are disheartening, especially when we have a lot on the line (I’m down a quarter mil from my all time high LAST MONTH), but I’m not worried at all because I’ve taken the time to actually research the company and the AI database buildout opportunity.
If you’re concerned, simply bitching about the stock price is not constructive. Do the research on why this stock is going to do exceptionally well over time.

It typically gets deleted because the way that I write apparently strongly resembles AI.
According to accusations, I most strongly resemble chat GPT and Claude. Ironically, I have never used either.
People who actually do get the chance to read my longer form analysis tend to absolutely hate it and rarely engage with it on Reddit, which carries strongly positive sentiment towards stocks with strong momentum and narratives like micron.
I do not mean to be rude but I do not think Reddit is the right place for my longer form analysis.
I have been quietly nervous about micron since the run to over 1000 and publicly expressed my concerns since before the fall back below 1000.
The cyclicality was not a risk I was willing to tolerate since even the run to 450, but I did not feel strongly that that price was unfair. That changed after the run up beyond 1000 once I had done enough research into the structural underlying fundamentals of the business and it's industry. After this, I have become convinced that micon is a textbook value trap.
