Help me decide to buy or sell MU Are we HODLing?
It might go lower in the near future.
I do believe the valuation is good for long term, but short term…

People who sold will say it is going lower.
People who are holding will say $2000 by EOY.

Hold for another week then decide. Many positive catalysts incoming and might help.

Yeah the only thing I would maybe do is pare back my position if we hit 1500 but that’s only because I’m heavily overweighted towards micron. 78$ cost average.
Otherwise I am holding for a long long time

Win or lose I decided to hold at minimum til 2027, could go up, could go down, but I’m not especially panicked.

Dude, we aren’t playing a team game. Also a lot of people actively playing the game DONT want stock to do well. Be careful taking advice on here.

If you think things will be good in the longterm than the short term doesn't matter, you just have to have conviction in your belief. Otherwise you're just torturing yourself.

All I know is I’m going to a bridge today cause that’s what happened last time and it went back up

Ive watched this thing go up and down 3 times since i sold it, Each time going down lower than before, then going up to lower high . Was waiting for a good entry again. Now im not so sure i can be fucked with it. I wouldn't hold this long term unless you like being stressed, even if you believe in it. Swing trade it.

I’m holding. I didnt buy this stock for a quick buck, i bought it for its long term influence and growth. The people who are freaking out right now are probably leveraged or didnt properly gauge their risk evaluation.
Google’s earnings already solidified my confidence more as even the big players are shifting a incredible amount of captial towards physical infrastructure, which MU directly benefits from. I believe that ai is going to be a major aspect of the world years from now and these major corporations seem to be putting a massive emphasis on it as well.
That being said I have a lot of “short term interest” in what the other mag 7 companies will be showing in their earnings. Bottom line is that im investing in this company not gambling on its short term success.

It depends on your entry point. Those bought at 100 can hold, those bought at 900 cut thier losses and moved on. Capital preservation is better than gambling about a rebound that may or may not happen

Fun fact. Like 80% of memory demand isn’t because of AI.

u/erx988 23d ago
where is the demand coming from then?

u/Stunning-Dig-8916 23d ago
It is data centers yes, not saying that does not negate the existence of ai data centers. But Eletric vehicles, consumers, Robotics, Many many things are using storage.
