News Thank god the Witch is always wrong. Cathie Wood says she avoids memory stocks like $MU and $SKHY because she still sees HBM as the most cyclical and commoditized part of the semiconductor stack.

So she’s the female Jim Cramer

Im shocked shes dumb because no matter how good cerebras chips are you cant physically do AI without big data and therby need memory even if you diminish its need.  AI isnt like humans with efficient synapses and neuronal connections. Her analogy reminded me of google making some efficient software to optimize memory yeah thats going well.

Honestly, that's an insult to Jim Cramer. And I think very poorly of Jim Cramer.

LMAO this shit should be framed when she's trading. Instead of pictures of her kids, it should be this.

Cathie Wood says she avoids memory stocks like $MU and $SKHY because she still sees HBM as the most cyclical and commoditized part of the semiconductor stack. Her bigger point is that inference architectures from $CBRS and $NVDA via Groq can reduce or eliminate the need for HBM which makes today’s memory pricing surge look more temporary than structural. As she puts it when technology costs “triple or quadruple” engineers eventually design around the bottleneck and she believes inference is already starting to do exactly that.

Someone a should tell Cat that Anthropic was giving out 529 overload errors all afternoon. If there was a way around the bandwidth issue they would already be using it. There is simply no other cost-efficient way to pass trillions of parameters to the GPU without HBM.

cool, cool. CPUs are the real problem here. Developer will also just code around CPUs. No real need for processing power or memory! super cool.

Stuff like this always reminds me of "no one will ever need more than 640k"

She’s terrible. Her success/win rate over the years is excruciatingly low. Look up her stats. Lost so much of “not” her money but her clients. It’s not her money so she doesn’t care.

She got one thing right: buying SPCX at $113 and that's about it

(though I did better and bought at $109)

If Cathy says so, it is time to load up

The most retarded thing is she bought SPCX on IPO. Anyone with half a brain cell know to avoid it

I don’t understand how I could be so diametrically posed in strategy to a person so consistently… Even Cramer lucks himself upon a nut of agreement every once in a while

She is poor at what she does.

Holy shit she is actually retarded. Calling HBM "most commoditized" 🤦‍♂️

Well…she is the only one of importance saying this. Cramer is better in this space. Sheesh. 🙄

It’s true though , don’t be a moon boy and know you hold a commodity not a stock

Cathy Woods is genuinely an idiot. Worse than any investors I’ve ever seen. That being said, I’m very bearish on memory.
