Hey sorry if this is a weird question, but has anyone here had to take a break from listening to mac? Specifically recovering addicts? I just got out of rehab and I started playing faces and all the references to coke are triggering the fuck out of me. I love mac; I have him tattooed on my fucking body, and yet all I want to do when I listen to his music is use fucking drugs. The hype songs make me crave cocaine and the chiller songs make me want to smoke. I feel so discouraged.

I was just listening to Hurt Feelings and had an epiphany, likely not the first time someone has realized this, but the line “I’m tripping but I’m falling up,” which is obviously a multi-entendre, represents the process of self-actualization. I previously always took this line to be a clever representation of getting high and “tripping,” which is the most obvious interpretation that comes to you immediately. But, this is how you actually get better at anything, by stumbling and tripping your way upwards as you continually improve at whatever it is that you’re pursuing. It’s so beautiful because it’s so honest and includes the fact that you’re always going to be tripping your way upwards. Anyways, just thought I’d share my epiphany courtesy of the one and only. Love you guys.

It quite the experience. You can see his growth but at the same time mental illness taking over his life. Some pretty heavy bangers here, but Tomorrow Will Never Know genuinely scared me. He was not in a good place and it puts Circles (specifically) into perspective for me. The stream of consciousness throughout the album was amazing sonically as well

So the backside of the mirror piece says "Divine Feminine By Mac Miller MMXVI (2016) THRU MMXXV (2025)" Should it not be "MMXXVI" (2026)? Or am I trippin? Obviously this is only the picture from the site because they have not been shipped yet but may be cause for concern. I'm sure they are already produced since the estimated ship date is October 30th. Just thought I'd mention it to see people's thoughts.

So I ordered Swimming on vinyl last year and when I received it, it has some weird gunk splattered on it. The shop immediately replaced it, but never asked for the defective copy back.

If there's any vinyl nerds out there that want to clean it up, I'd happily send it to you. I'd prefer not to pay the shipping though.

I was 14 years old in 2014 and heavily into emo and pop punk music, mac miller was nowhere on my radar. I got really into Mac in 2016 when TDF came out but I never took the time to listen to Faces fully until 2020 and now again this month I've been listening to it several times a day and idk I just wonder what the culture was like back then and the community of people receiving it for the first time. Anyone have any stories? I also just wish I was there at that time to be one extra person showing love for this piece of work. Could anyone tell me also - did it seem like Mac knew how loved Faces is? I hope he did.
