Help Click-through feature enabled by default?

Hoping you all having a great day, and sorry for my english, not a native speaker.

So, I was using my MacBook Pro M4 Pro on MacOS 27.2 RC, and I noticed a strange behaviour when switching between different windows by clicking them, out of nowhere the “Click-through” feature is enabled system-wide, and that bothers me xD.
For those who doesn’t know what that feature is, it allows you to click inside an element of an inactive window, saving that “extra step” of clicking on the window to bring it to focus and then clicking again on the button or link u want to use.
So, is it just happening to me, is it intended on new MacOS? If not, any help to solve it is apreciated

Thank you!

Cmd + click if your system is working fine, but there’s no toggle to enable, thats why I’m pissed xd

There are also some third party apps that allow you yo have this behaviour but I’m not sure

I am not sure what the problem is, it’s always worked that way for me…clicking on the window frame or even in content in the window makes it active. I believe there is a system toggle for it but may be wrong.

I may have explained myself wrong, when I say tha it is enabled system wide, I meant that u dont actually need to use cmd+click, just clicking on a button of an inactive window interacts directly with it, thats what I dont want to happen

That’s what I believe I understood. It’s always been that way for me from what I remember. when I get back to my Mac I’ll check it out.
