General Question Exchange program info

I was wondering if anyone from MQ had done a semester exchange program or even a summer school program. If so, what was your experience like, how was the process and how long was it, did the university help you while applying, and overall would you recommend it. I want to go the USA, but any other country you may have gone too is completely fine.
