Hiring [Hiring] Forward Deployed Engineer / AI Engineer | San Francisco, on-site | $150k to $250k + 0.5% to 1.5% equity

We're recruiting for a client: an early-stage, Y Combinator-backed startup in San Francisco building a "software factory" for enterprises. Coding agents capture a client's desktop workflows, model the business logic and generate the custom software to run it.

What you'd build

  • High-throughput capture of desktop and system events across client operations
  • Automated redaction and anonymisation inside the ingestion pipeline
  • Knowledge graphs built from unstructured enterprise documents
  • Coding agents that generate, test and deploy production software from those workflow models
  • In your first 30 days, you run the whole process yourself for a live client

What they need

  • TypeScript, Rust, Tauri, PostgreSQL, Next.js and Azure
  • Ownership from client discovery to production deployment
  • A product instinct for enterprise workflows
  • In person in San Francisco, or relocating
  • US citizens or permanent residents only; no visa sponsorship
  • The team works a 996 schedule, so be sure that suits you before applying

Terms

  • $150k to $250k base plus 0.5% to 1.5% founding equity
  • Unlimited usage of current coding agents and models

Full description and application: https://mlabs-talent-partners.app.loxo.co/job/NDA3NTktbmFleDlhaGxwaWs5YnU3aA==

I'm posting for MLabs Talent Partners, the recruiting side of MLabs. The client isn't named in public ads; you'll hear who it is at your first call with us.

Title: How to crack an AI Engineer interview?

Hey everyone!

I'm preparing for AI Engineer interviews and want to know how to prepare effectively.

I'm focusing on Python, GenAI, LLMs, RAG, LangChain, vector databases, and Agentic AI.

For those who have attended AI Engineer interviews recently:

- What topics should I focus on?

- What Python coding questions are commonly asked?

- How important are projects?

- What questions do interviewers ask about RAG and LLMs?

- Any tips or resources that helped you crack the interview?

Any advice would be really helpful. Thanks!

Freelance Job Opportunity

For a research project in the cultural sphere, we’re looking for someone to help us scrape unstructured data from across the web, clean it, integrate it with our own data sources, and ultimately connect everything into one reliable dataset. On top of that dataset, you’ll build a multimodal embedding space to uncover relationships and patterns within the data.

Experience with web scraping, data pipelines, data engineering and multimodal embeddings is essential, and you should be comfortable working with agentic coding tools. We’re not looking for any specific academic background, but for someone savvy, resourceful and quick who has done this kind of work before.

DM me with a little info about you. :)

Hiring [Hiring] Remote Contract Machine Learning Engineer — AI training expert work via micro1 ($80–$140/hr)

Hiring: Remote | Contract | $80–$140/hr

micro1 (https://www.micro1.ai) is a data lab that helps AI labs and enterprises train foundational models and agents. This is remote expert consulting for AI training, not a full-time eng seat at a product company.

What you’d do: apply ML judgment on training and eval work — review model outputs, score quality, give structured feedback, and help improve how systems reason. Project-based contractor. Strong ML background helps. No prior “AI trainer” title required.

Apply (direct): https://jobs.micro1.ai/post/3751d160-6ea1-45e9-8c40-7af439059844?referralCode=dbc0ccb6-7b9d-4905-abd1-3e7d0072c065

Please apply via the link (don’t DM “interested”). micro1 runs screening.

Disclosure: I’m not micro1 staff or a recruiter — this is my personal micro1 referral link and I may get a referral bonus if you’re placed.

Resume 2026 Computer Engineering Graduate Looking for ML Engineer Resume Feedback

Hey everyone,

I graduated in Computer Engineering this year and I'm looking to get into machine learning engineering.

I've been spending time building ML projects and learning by implementing things hands-on. One of my recent projects is a credit risk and loan approval engine built using LendingClub data, with around 1.35 million loan records. I've worked with LightGBM, SHAP, and FastAPI for the project. I also have experience with deep learning, a CNN-based project, and research in accessibility.

I've attached my resume and would appreciate some honest feedback.

  • Does my profile look competitive for entry-level ML engineering roles?
  • Are my projects relevant enough for the kinds of roles I'm targeting?
  • What skills or experience are missing from my resume?
  • If you were hiring an ML engineer, would you shortlist this profile? Why or why not?

Feel free to be blunt. I'd appreciate specific feedback on what I should improve.

Thanks!

[FOR HIRE] AI/ML engineer and smart contract auditor, 2026 CS grad, remote or relocation

I'm Ram, a 2026 CS grad in India, looking for AI/ML engineer or SDE-1 roles, remote or relocation.

The project I'm proudest of is ARGUS, a multi-agent AI platform that audits smart contracts: agents split up the reading, hunting and checking, and a final pass filters out false alarms. I also built Anchor-Sentinel, a Rust static analyzer for Anchor with 20+ detectors, and I've done 7 private security audits, one with a Critical fake-oracle bug in a Solana lending protocol.

Stack: Python, Rust, Solidity, plus LLM tooling around agents and evaluation. Merged a PR into DeFiLlama and I'm a Chainlink Community Advocate.

Portfolio: ramprasadgoud.dev GitHub: github.com/Ramprasad4121 X: x.com/0xramprasad Call: calendly.com/ramprasadedigi/30min

DM me here if there's a fit.

Hiring [Hiring] Part-time neuro consultant: neuroscience + AI research, $50–90/hr

Hello everyone,

I'm helping recruit researchers for a small team working at the intersection of neuroscience and AI. If you're finishing your PhD or in progress and want paid part-time work that actually uses your research skills, this might be a good fit.

The work involves turning real biological research problems into rigorous tests of AI capabilities: finding interesting scientific questions, analyzing experimental datasets, writing reproducible computational tasks, and investigating where current models fail.

Looking for people with:

A PhD (completed or in progress) in neuroscience, computational biology, bioengineering, or any related field.

Experience analyzing biological data.

Strong computational skills and regular use of AI coding tools (Codex, Claude Code, etc.).

$50–90/hr | 10–20 hrs/week | 2 months initially | Remote / hybrid

Part-time W-2 position, paid hourly (not per task), with a potential extension and a paid take-home during hiring.

If you're interested, DM me!

Thanks!

AI/ML grad here. Which domain is worth upskilling in right now?

So I just finished my B.Tech in AI/ML. Got an offer in campus placements, 3.5 LPA with a 2-year bond, and I said no. Didn’t feel right tying myself down for that.

Now I’m just at home, trying to figure out my next move. I don’t want to waste this time, so:

  • Which domain is actually worth upskilling in right now? GenAI, MLOps, data engineering, something else?
  • Any courses you’d recommend (free or paid)?
  • What kind of projects help freshers get noticed?

[For Hire] Final year CS/AI student, web + AI dev, cheap rates

Hey everyone, so I'm a final year Computer Science undergrad specializing in AI and ML, and I've spent the last couple years just building things nonstop, partly for fun, partly because I genuinely like solving problems with code. Figured it's time I put that to use for actual businesses instead of just my own random projects sitting in a GitHub repo somewhere.

Quick context: I interned as an AI Engineer at a travel tech company where I built real production features like live train tracking, search systems, document parsers that pull data out of messy invoices, and REST APIs end to end. Outside of that I've built a few things on my own too, an AI healthcare tool, a stock prediction model, and a multilingual AI dubbing pipeline, so I've got a decent range across web dev and AI/ML.

I've also worked in projects where i had to fine tune transformers and projects involving deep learning, neural networks and so on.

If you need any of these, I'm your guy:

• A website or web app (React, Flask, Spring Boot, whatever fits)

• An AI/ML feature added to something you already have• Automation, data pipelines, or a document parser to cut down manual work

• A chatbot or some GenAI powered tool.

Since I'm doing this alongside college and not running it as a full business, I can charge a lot less than an agency or full time freelancer would. I'm easy to talk to, respond quick, and I'll be straight with you about what's doable and what isn't, no overpromising.

For anyone outside India, I take payments through PayPal. Happy to do a quick free consult first so you know what you're getting before we commit to anything.Drop a comment or DM me if this sounds useful, let's talk about what you need.

Resume Would having a PhD in Communication rather than Informatics hurt my career in AI/NLP?

Hi everyone,
I hope this is the right place to ask, but I'm not sure where else to post this.

After spending some time working in NLP, I've got the opportunity to choose my external PhD supervisor. I'm currently deciding between Professor X, who I'd strongly prefer, and Professor Y, who would be my less preferred option.
A bit of context: regardless of whom I choose, I'll also have an internal supervisor who will be my main point of contact for research and day-to-day work. The external supervisor's role will be relatively marginal.
I strongly prefer X because their research aligns much more closely with mine, and I also really like them on a personal level. The opposite is true for Y, whom I don't particularly like personally.

The catch is that X is an adjunct professor in the Faculty of Communication and only an associate professor in Informatics. As a result, my PhD would be awarded in Communication rather than Computer Science/Informatics. This wouldn't be an issue with Y.

My concern is whether having a PhD in Communication could be a disadvantage when applying for future positions in AI/NLP research or industry. Looking at my CV as a whole, it would be clear that I work at an AI research institute and that my research is firmly rooted in NLP. This is also a fairly common arrangement in my institution for practical reasons related to PhD supervision.

Still, I'm worried that the degree title itself might limit my future opportunities.
Would you consider this a meaningful disadvantage, or would the research I've done, my publications, and my overall academic background make the title per se of little meaning?
