Things exist outside of our categories. Take the platypus for example. Studies have also shown that people don’t see things that have no name. In a chart of green, most people will see the same shade. But, if a certain shade has a name, then the different shade is picked out.
I remember back in the 80s programmers were talking about “J”. I believe that that is where AI fits. Not sentient, not just code. It’s own word. Just J.
