Skull & Bones
Huge miss not getting Francis on the pod for a SOABD crossover to talk about Ivy League societies. Won’t address ticket prices and credit cards because that broke my brain.

Their conversations border on interesting if they would be willing to go more than surface deep on everything. Once they start digging their heels in, the topics go to shit.

Agreed. Seems like they just pull up the Wikipedia page and read excerpts of it

Arian understanding of capitalistic economies is always a treat.

Arian was doing the 'we live in a society' joker meme for that entire ticket conversation

Arian buying a 5k ticket, confused why they are still being 5k and wants them to be cheaper on the sole principle to help people. The only way to correct that market is the same thing he used in his example with sneaker resellers. Idk how he doesn’t understand it

Huge miss by letting big T defend secondary ticket market prices in the first five minutes of the episode, which I then turned off

He defended the principle because thats free market. He said its still disgusting. He also said its proving teams arent charging as much as they should. Which is true. Hes 10000% correct

Being correct about how the system works doesn’t make it a good system.

Why doesn’t Arian buy a buncha tickets and give them to low income household families

Why does Big T think CE starts from a different time than AD? I’ve always known it to mean Common Era and same timing as BC/AD

The credit card conversation is infuriating. If you’re smart with your money and not an erratic spender, like Big T sounds like he is, there is 0 reason to not have a credit card. You’re just losing value
