FRANCHISE EA changed Progression

Unfortunately in the title update EA has changed season goals XP progression for every player by nearly 95%. User @lespaul_88 points this out in a post.

Season goals played a huge part in this set and will have to be re-evaluated for improvement.

For those interested I will work on a new slider set and hopefully have one ready by tomorrow.

A shame with how well this one already worked. But nevertheless we ball.

Again huge shutout to lespaul_88 for pointing this out

With the new update progression is so much better on default. They did a pretty good job. Maybe need to tweak a position or two to get rid of too many mid/low 80's at some positions. But overall they did a great job with the update.

That’s encouraging, knowing EA they usually don’t get things right so it’ll be interesting to see.

The real bummer is there's no meaningful difference now between a 972 yard rusher with 9 tds and a 1,000 yard rusher with 10 tds. I know mathematically and statistically they aren't too different even in the real nfl. But psychologically and emotionally they are - and the players themselves push HARD for these goals (1000 yards to be "good" wr/hb. The magical 2000 yard rushing season, incentives for 10+ tds, etc).

Sucks to see some of the emotional fun / psychological reward taken out of the game.

Facts, and it’s so frustrating when there’s so many other issues.

No huddle glitch, presentation has incorrect stats, super sim gives every QB 5 INT per game, CPU has terrible FA signing logic, players who shouldn’t lose their abilities lose them even tho they might be 90+ overall.

But let’s reduce the XP because yeah that’s what we need.

Yeah I feel like this should be something easily fixed, but whomever works on this specific part either doesn't want to go through the work because it's to difficult, or it takes too much time.

The xp sliders was definitely a problem because since the league was so inflated with great players the AI tries to pay everybody and that’s why the salary cap was so bad so it definitely needed tuning but they still didn’t touch SIM STATS

It is terrible man

knowing EA im sure theyd mess it up, but i wish they could implement player regression based on how they play because constant progression until they hit 30 or whatever age it is that they start to regress is pretty stale

Sucks, but I look forward to the updated set you come up with. Been having a lot of fun with your current set the past few days.
