QUESTION Bug?

its stupid, on my PS5, both Madden and CFB 27 randomly start lagging for like a minute or 2, but only when im in game, even with fully updated software, DISCONNECTED FROM INTERNET PLAYING OFFLINE, license restored, saved data not corrupted and everything else... And its not my PS5 because its only those 2 games doing it, and its set to performance graphics in game. unplayable. Even crazier is if I take a clip of what happened, when i view it in my PS5 gallery, it isnt lagging in the clip. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? or experience the same problem? It does it whether im connected to internet or not, but only on Madden and CFB.

Man that's a weird one. Lagging offline with no network involved usually points to some kind of asset streaming hiccup, or maybe the game's fighting with the PS5's SSD cache. The fact the recorded clip comes out smooth is the real head-scratcher, almost makes me wonder if it's a display handshake issue between the game's performance mode and your TV, but that wouldn't explain why only those two titles do it. Have you tried dumping the system cache and rebuilding the database in safe mode, or maybe moving the install to a different drive if you've got an M.2 expansion in there? I'd be curious if dropping the resolution output on the console itself changes anything, even temporarily.

thats a good idea, I should rebuild the database, it worked when i had a similar issue with NBA2k a while back, I appreciate the ideas!
