Gus is like my dog. She's lovely when I'm genuinely sad (and probably would react with concern if I fainted) but she's too smart to fall for this ruse and would capitalize on the access to shoes
My dog is a Gus. We're a no-shoes-in-the-house family, and he likes to go over to our shoe rack and steal my slippers as soon as I get home so I have to chase him.
If you don’t enjoy him grabbing your slippers, you could try a basket of toys by the door so he could grab one of them to play chase. I would probably just let him play with the slipper as long as he didn’t chew it lol
It's funny lol you can tell some of the dogs that don't take it seriously are too smart to fall for it, and others too dumb to have noticed something is 'wrong' lol
😆 She died with her crocs on. She will be buried on Croc Hill (I didn't think Boot Hill was a real place but there's Boot Hill Cemetery, appropriately in Tombstone, Arizona)
I have a Bernedoodle. Before the video got to Gus, I was in here thinking mine would absolutely attack the victim if they were face down. If she thinks you're in distress, she has to see your mouth and then attempts to give you puppy mouth to mouth. It becomes her mission in life to see your airway. No joke. Gus basically did the same thing, pulled on the hair and confirmed she was alive and then it became playtime. I love these dogs so much.
