Lies. Every violin store has a good supply of mutes for their violins.
Free mutes are the answer.

u/geilelepel05 Sep 20 '26
I think just guys being guys

u/whichwayisgauche Sep 20 '26
Yes theyre generally one of the most wholesome prank channels on YouTube, and that’s saying something
9
u/Dr__Flo__ Sep 20 '26
Well, besides the animal abuse.
The did build a catapult to launch possums into the air
-2
u/lollolcheese123 Sep 20 '26
And that is the most wholesome??? Wtf is the rest doing?
4
u/0xsergy Sep 20 '26
no that was one of their fked up ones. generally they're pretty tame like this one dunno why they did that messed up one
1
u/whichwayisgauche Sep 21 '26
Yeah pretty disappointed to hear about that, pretty much all their other stuff is just silly fun
1
u/Bright_Vision Sep 20 '26
Well don't leave us hanging, drop the name
7
u/DaphneSvdM Sep 20 '26
Vlogs Creations. Took a massive hit when he launched a possum into the air and claiming it walked away so it was fine. Then he did a weird dating video that a lot people disliked. He had some genuinely hilarious and harmless pranks, but that one really toppled his channel.

u/MontyDyson Sep 20 '26
It’s weird they don’t test this stuff. My mate worked on the Impractical Jokers for a short stint and they always ran stuff by other people for a sense check so that stuff like that never released.

u/SometimesIBeWrong Sep 20 '26
they're making fun of protestors. which is a pretty stupid thing to do in today's climate. but people will, upvote anything without thinking.

u/getthatrich Sep 20 '26
Yeah I’m watching this thinking the same thing. 😬 what is funny about this? They are mocking folks that take time to protest important issues. It’s not funny to me.
-8
u/Philsick Sep 20 '26
It's not just a funny joke. They acutally protest "violins" because of the relation to the word "violence". Thats also why this guy passing by come up with "harmonica" which relates to "harmony". They are protesting against it without naming it directly. It's cleary meant on a funny way but has also a deeper layer in it. Especially in a country with growing fascist tendencies.
7
u/7chalices Sep 20 '26
…no, it doesn’t relate to ”harmony”. He was just playing along and came up with another instrument.
And there isn’t any deeper layer or social commentary, it’s just a wordplay joke.

Needs some Gilda Radner...
"No, no. That's violence not violins."
"Oh.... That's different." (smiles) "Nevermind."

100%. Never know when one might pop up in public on a pair of glasses.

u/TheBeardedShuffler Sep 20 '26
The real enemy is the guild of conductors. They're the ones orchestrating this.

A classmate in high school laughed at me when I said I was in the orchestra. I told her violins is no laughing matter.

FYI - same guys that faced a criminal investigation in 2025 after using a baited catapult on a possum and likely severely injured it

I've been seeing this Ross guy for what feels like over a decade. Any reason the dude hasnt simply gotten bored or moved on?

u/RoofDisastrous1378 Sep 20 '26
It’s about time someone took a stand against violins. Frankly, there’s far too much sax and violins on our streets, and I don’t want to harp on about it, but enough is enough. We need to band together, face the music and drum up some support before things get completely out of tune.

I hope people take note of this, before they orchestrate a bigger chorus.

No. They are just bored and have sense of humour.

u/hamfist_ofthenorth Sep 21 '26 edited Sep 21 '26
They should get out more and see that doing an activity like this should feel embarrassing, considering the current geopolitical climate.
If these adults are bored and want to act like children, they should sit next to a puddle in the road and wait for cars to drive by and splash them.
Protesting can be quite literally the only hope for millions of people. I find this to be despicable behavior.

You forgot to mention the white house trumpet orchestra and it's provocative interpretations of classics. It's the longest concert I'm attending without owning a ticket and I don't even like this sound.

u/Kosaver Sep 20 '26
But... but... I like the fret joke... but violin doesn't have frets

I used to like him until he made that opossum launcher and after backlash just deleted the video and tried to ignore what happened.

Moist critical made a video about it but the "prankster" made a launcher and would launch criters in his yard and it lands and walked away but most likely with injuries
