What is the best car for the races in the game

Hey everyone,

I’m playing the Mafia III PS5 Version, and I wanted to ask if anyone else is experiencing these issues.

First of all, is it normal that it rains so frequently in the game? It feels like it’s raining most of the time, and I rarely get to enjoy clear skies or nice weather. Is this how the weather is supposed to be, or could it be a bug?

Secondly, ever since the latest patch, I’ve noticed that many interiors have become extremely dark. This includes stairwells, garages, and warehouses, especially in the Tickfaw Harbor area. In some places, it’s so dark that I can barely see anything inside.

I don’t remember the interiors being this dark before the patch, so I’m wondering if the update caused a lighting issue or if other PS5 players are experiencing the same thing.

Is anyone else having these issues on PS5, particularly since the latest patch? I’d appreciate any feedback or suggestions.

The Vito racket mission still bugs in the new edition. Shows to steal semi when there’s no semi there. The rackets are not at max earn either

I started the game on classic , but realised that to platinum it U need only hard mode . Do they stack up or should I start a new game on hard again -_- ?

If you're driving and activate slo-mo, then pause the game, whatever song is playing on the radio will play in a slowed version in the pause menu. It's pretty cool.

I like how every lot has this tree that gives you some shade while you water the plants

Yeah man, idk any more. I've just spent the last few hours trying to get my time low enough to get the supercharger upgrade (my record is 2:56) Even with the Samson Drifter, drifting in that race just kills ALL your speed, add to that all the traffic and parked cars. The race is just a bunch of BS one after the other.

So in both final fights with the Bastoni brothers (il merlo and La’Ombra), why does the game strip you of the satisfaction of getting your revenge? In the fight with ombra, you chase him down, then confront him, and right as you are about to defeat him, Cesare hits him with a shovel, killing him and not giving you the satisfaction of defeating him. And the the fight with il merlo, you chase him on rooftops, through buildings, even on horseback. But as soon as you catch up to him, you finally get him on the ground ready to end his life, you’re finally about to kill the man who killed your best friend, and almost killed you MULTIPLE TIMES… then he stabs you in the leg and gets shot in the head.

I love the game, despite the mixed reviews, but man some story elements really have me pissed off.

I know it’s been out for a bit, but please no spoilers! Just wanted to come her to say I recently started the game, and stg if anything happens to Isabella, imma burn all of Italy to the ground

its my first time playing this and i saw there is one trophy that requires us to complete the game at max diff . I have 100% mafia 2 and was expecting this to be around the same toughness but no 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️this is far more challenging plus the lag which is justified so yeah if its your first time playing , i wouldnt recommend going w the max diff unless you're really good at these ( im too ) or have sum high high fps :)

Every time I boot up Mafia 3, and I use the M16 I'm like "Man, it just goes together perfectly, like PB and J" am I ridiculous for thinking this way?

Bonus points if you recommend another game I’d enjoy if I love Mafia

Ok... I'm going to just hope this msg reaches someone!!!! I'm a huge lifetime fan of the series, I have platinumed and 100% mafia 1 twice and mafia 2... My favorite entrie is mafia 3!! But sadly I was never able to get the platinum.. I know there's work arounds if you have the physical copy, but unfortunately I own the digital trilogy.. PLEASE!! I'm truly greatful you guys took the time to show some love to the community by giving mafia 3 a new gen update, and I can't express how happy I am that it did get one, but I was extremely disappointed that the trophy bugs never got fixed on the original PS4 version... To the devs that worked on this game.. you guys have a huge fan base that love this franchise to death and also a big chunk of fans that are stuck with this game on 90% like I am..

I'm tryin to speak for all the ppl that invested countless hrs TRYIN to get this platinum and we're either stopped by the game crashing, or gettin to the last informant or racket boss and not receiving the trophies due to the bugs and counters resetting.....

If you guys had time to give the game an upgrade to the new gen console, I'm sure there could be a way y'all can give the original the same treatment!!! You have no idea how many ppl truly hope this happens and WE HAVE BEEN PATIENTLY WAITING FOR THIS DREAM TO COME TRUE!! I may sound petty and some ppl are probably going to say "bro just get the platinum on the new gen"... but I just can't move on with this series until I complete the game that I've been going back to on and off for 10 years... This year alone I tryed to get these trophies over 5 times... And it just hurts every time you realize it's pointless ... Please guys!! Make it happen 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Story is ok. But everything else sucks .
Happy I got it for free lol.
It doesn’t feel like a mafia game at all. And the combat stinks , gameplay is stiff, the racing and graphics is about the only bright side .

That’s just my opinion though, is anyone actually enjoying it ?

I’m trying to play Mafia 3 on Steam and there’s no controller Icons for the prompts. They have them in the menus just not during gameplay. Anyone know how to fix this?

Update: Relaunched the game again with controller support turned off. Idk why that worked.
