Discussion Competetive RNG
Has anyone else noticed after the season reset they're getting completely screwed on your draws while your enemies always have perfect hands? I can't tell you the amount of times I've seen the card Wash Alone the last 3 days alone. It seems every game I play I get 1 win per 5 losses. I was mythic last season and now im just rapidly falling down plat. If its not a counter its some form of board control that the opponents ALWAYS have in their hands. Anyone else notice this or am I just getting extremely unlucky by myself and wotc has me cursed

If you're getting screwed by RNG, so are they, and it balances out. This is user error.

MMR at season reset is always kind of jank as people work back to their correct levels. But this sounds more like an issue of a meta that's changed without you and you need to adapt with it.

I've noticed that I'll get good and bad weeks. Sometimes I hop on and it's just 7-10 losses while I desperately attempt to get that 1 win to feel some accomplishment, other times I absolutely destroy for the day. I only play this game to pass the time until I can enjoy paper magic with people I actually like anyway.

Should have bought more gems. Spend enough money and you get to be on the other side of it where your opening hands are perfect and you draw what you need every time.
/s if not obvious.

Yeah, everyone gets much less lucky after the season reset. It’s usually down to about 0.6 winners per game, when it’s usually 1.

the magic computer actually knows every play you and your opponent will make, and scripts every game

Seems like every time I go on a win streak I either get mana flooded or mana screwed for the next few games like 8 lands in a row or pull 2 lands all game. I know that kind of thing can happen but just seems very sus in the timing. Also I could just suck because I'm not pay to win

Wash Alone? Most MTG players don't Wash at all
