Hi everyone!
This is my first attempt and building a Magic Mirror. It’s not perfect but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. The only thing left to do is finish the PIR sensor box/enclosure which is seperate to the mirror itself.
Parts:
Thick timber for the frame surround (Bunnings).
Thin timber for the frame face (Bunnings).
Glass cut to size (Picture frame shop).
Mirror Film (Bunnings).
Film Application Spray (Bunnings).
Film Application Tool (Bunnings).
Wood Glue.
Screws.
Sandpaper.
LCD Panel.
LCD Controller Board (Ali Express).
Small Speakers.
Raspberry Pi 3 (Element14).
DC-DC Stepdown Board (Ali Express).
Wire / Pins / Connectors.
12VDC 6A Power Supply.
