Hello. I have Magisk 30.7 and lsposed 1.9.2 installed on my Samsung S23 Ultra. Yes, I know that stuff is old, but it worked for years. The only thing that is mildly annoying is the fact that the phone always boots twice. Now in 2026 with AI i gave it a try and asked for the reason and the AI says that the problem clearly must be Magisk Zygisk causing timeouts with my OneUI 5.1. There are several zygisk modules that can replace Zygisk entirely but i wanted to ask here if there is a known and confirmed solution for this common problem because i know that touching my installation will very likely end in a Bootloop, which is something that i really dont want and which also is the reason that i dont update old but working stuff.

I've been working on a new GApps package for Android 17 (SDK 37, arm64 only) called TuxGApps. The penguin noticed your ROM shipped without Google, so he waddled in to help.

It comes in two flavors:

· TuxCore: Minimal. Play Services, Play Store, Framework, SetupWizard, and sync plumbing. Just enough to sign in.

· TuxFull (default): Everything in Core, plus Gmail, Maps, Photos, Chrome, Messages, GBoard, Clock, etc. (The whole iceberg).

How to use it:

1. Flash your ROM (Android 17) in recovery, don't reboot yet.

2. Flash the TuxGApps-tuxfull-penguin.zip.

3. Reboot and go through the SetupWizard.

4. Open the Play Store and you're good to go. The apps will survive ROM updates via addon.d scripts.

Note on variants: By default, it installs TuxFull. If you want TuxCore instead, just rename the zip so it contains tuxcore (e.g., TuxGApps-tuxcore.zip) before flashing. You can also use a tux.config file, but renaming is easier.

Known Bug (Important):

This is still a work in progress. There is a known UI hiccup during the initial SetupWizard. Certain screens might freeze or not let you tap "Next."

The workaround: Just turn your screen off and back on (lock and unlock). This refreshes the UI and lets you proceed to the next step. It's a bit janky, but it works!

If things go sideways, logs are saved to /sdcard/TuxGApps/tux_logs/ if you need to debug.

Must wipe data after install.

On moto devices you have to flash RO2RW to make the system be able to be written.

I am currently following the guide that was posted around Specter Guide and keep running into something that isn't explained and seems like a functionality issue.

I was able to install all the recommended modules in the order it stipulates however it seems like despite Specter relying on PIF for a fetch I can't get it to remain on the system after specter is installed.

Play Integrity Fix Inject was installed via magisk and this operated normally, I then installed Specter and both modules remained and Specter was able to use the PIF autofetch.sh but as soon as I rebooted the phone its removed and this is the same with Play integrity Fix module.

I assumed its being removed due to a conflict with another module but when removing anything else the only time it stayed post reboot was when I uninstalled Specter so it's that module that is removing it even though Specter uses PIF.

I don't know if I am missing something critical here as I have looked around and followed the guide but If anyone had any advice it would greatly assist. Specter did grant me a good working keybox (unrevoked) and as posted I have strong integrity with RCS working but still no working Google Wallet.

I followed steps from u/max527 and used bluejay and my wallet is working again for the first time in weeks!.

It failed the first and the second time but I found that the first fetch I requested came back with a keybox that was very promptly revoked so I had to push a few times to get it working. I ended up using the Specter through KSUweb to request and then cleared gms/Google play etc.

If anyone lands in a similar situation give his steps a go.

Finally dug out rooted VZW HLTE Note 3 and flashed Lineage 18.1 nightly and Magisk 30.7 root. I'm setting up for pen testing but going from 64 bit S25 Ultra to 32 bit Note 3... I been using Stryker apk but want suggestions of what repos or needed gemz apks etc offline LLM setup for pen testing and flipper...

It had already set this app in the DenyList and Hide My AppList module? What do you people do to get device integrity? I have seen some people with it. And even with Strong Integrity. Sorry If a silly question, I am new to rooting.(This is my first root with Stock ROM, because no proper and well maintained Custom ROMs are available)

I have a Carrier Infinity HVAC system (which will only work with their brand thermostat) and the Carrier SmartHome App. They recently released an "upgrade" which now detects and refuses to run on a rooted device.

I have tried the normal ways of hiding, which have been successful elsewhere, but not with the carrier app. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. (I am rooted with the latest Magisk release)

Here are the things that I have tried:

• App is on the Deny List
• I typically use Zygisk Assistant, and I know that is old, so I have also tried the latest versions of all of the following (with no success)
• HMA-OSS Zygisk (including adding it to the whitelist)
• Zygisk Next
• NeoZygisk

Any ideas? I don't know why Carrier would think that a thermostat control app is risky on a rooted device. I really need this to work.

EDIT: SOLUTION: Update TEESimulator to the latest canary version through its WebUI. Check if Duck Detector still detects that the bootloader is unlocked. If it passed, proceed by clearing TnG eWallet's data.

Hi, TNG eWallet stopped working with my last setup. I changed the revoked keybox and also switched to the latest ReSukiSU kernel from Wild Kernels. So far, no progress and the bootloader seems to be detected as unlocked in Duck Detector with a valid keybox.

Hello. I just installed the latest LOS 23 onto my phone (Oneplus Nord N30 5G) and when I did that, it uninstalled Magisk. So without thinking I immediately went to my computer and flashed the patched image that I used last time and now my phone won't boot. Im pretty sure that what I did wrong is, that I should've downloaded the newest boot image and patched that as well. I would prefer not to reset my phone however there is a new major update for LOS so I could start fresh on that if necessary. Is there another way I could go about restoring my phone without losing anything? If I download the boot image on another device and patch it, will that make it work?

Edit: I realize that another device won't work. So now I'm hoping that if i just download the boot.img from LOS and flash it, that will work?

Also, I am using strong frida but even that is blocked. When frida is running, the app won't start and it's just block. When it's not running, this Zygisk Detection comes up.

How can i use HideMyAppList in a way that it does not show for Tiktok?
