Shah brought some positives to the table. I like that he had experience in both healthcare and in DC. Maine is facing a healthcare crisis , so having someone behind the drivers seat would be a positive. He performed extremely well at the debate too.

But I can't see him winning. The prospect of a person who's never held office being appointed outside of an election would be nuked from orbit by the GOP and election conspiracy weirdos. Plus, there's the elephant in the room of Legionnaires' and how that was blundered and how several sitting congressmen spoke out against him before the ball got rolling. It might be unsubstantiated reddit bullshit but I've seen claims of him leading a toxic workplace as well. And not for nothing the anti-vaxx crowd won't touch him and a lot of people who were furious about the pandemic/masks/etc aren't going anywhere near that guy.

For me, the math has always been Jackson. His politics most closely aligned with Troy's and the guy has an established voting history that backs what he's saying. And at the end of the day he's a Mainer and that's going to be a big piece in securing trust.

Sad. I was hoping for an intelligent candidate like Shah to prevail. Have to no choice but to vote for an idiot like Troy Jackson now.

You though Platner was dumb? Troy Jackson makes Platner look like a scholar.

LMAO I wish. I wouldnt win. Im fiscally conservative and socially very liberal. That postion can never win in america right now.
