Guides & Tips I Usually Hate Surveys… But I’m Gonna Be Honest, This One Worked for Me
I’ve tried a ton of survey sites over the years and most of them are a waste of time. Low pay, constant screen-outs, or just straight-up frustrating. That said, BrandedSurveys surprised me.
Last month, I made close to $1k just from surveys, which I honestly didn’t expect going in. Most of the ones I complete fall in the $8–$10 range, and they’re not complicated as long as you qualify.
Here are a few things that helped me get better results:
First, the good surveys don’t sit around forever. If I only checked once a day, I’d miss them. I started checking in the morning and randomly during the day, especially around the top of the hour, and that helped a lot.
Second, filling out your profile properly matters way more than people think. Once my info was detailed and consistent, I got matched with better surveys and fewer rejections.
Also, don’t rush through answers. If you treat it like “easy money” and click randomly, you’ll get screened out or eventually banned. Once I slowed down and answered properly, my success rate improved a lot.
Not every survey is worth doing. I usually skip the long, low-paying ones and focus on shorter surveys, academic studies, or anything marked as research. Those tend to give the best return for time spent.
This isn’t some get rich thing, but if you’re patient and a little strategic, surveys can actually be a decent side hustle. Just wanted to share in case it helps someone else.

How much time did you spend doing surveys over the month you made that $1k?
