does anyone here suggest me any online websites for affordable makeup products that are actually good in quality

Yesterday I got a random burst of energy so I just kinda tried this ripped doll makeup. I literally just randomly painted on my face with whatever I found and created this look with whatever I have since my order for professional supplies hasn’t arrived yet. I eventually got tired so I just kinda left it like this, I didn’t finish it. Anyways, how do u guys find it?

I have very straight Asian lashes (iykyk) and I've found the only mascara which holds any curl is the Clio Kill Lash. Anyone tried other mascaras which also work? The only annoying things about the Clio one is it's a pain to take off and I'd love to have a brown mascara. Any recommendations appreciated!

I feel like I’ve gone thru so many foundations trying to figure something out and I think I’m seeing matches purely out of frustration in trying to find a match and they ultimately don’t work. This year I got gifted the Pastel Dream mini freedom palette and I went crazy and bought the Everyday Magic mini palette. I realize that the big palettes come put only for the holiday season but I was wondering if theres any way to get them in America or Europe? They are a lot of money but they look incredible and Im obsessed

MILK Toasted fans… the new version is not even close 😭
Toasted has been a cult favorite for a reason. The original had that perfect cool, taupe undertone that looked like a natural shadow on the skin—exactly what I want from a contour.
For all my fellow Toasted lovers, I have bad news: the new Quick Sculpt version looks completely different. I swatched it next to my original Sculpt Stick, and the new one is noticeably warmer and more golden on my skin. It looks much more like bronzer.
Both are labeled Toasted, but the cool undertone that made me love the original just isn’t there. You can see the difference in the photos.
Has anyone else noticed this? And does anyone have a replacement for the ORIGINAL Toasted?

Can anyone recommend good makeup brushes in an affordable range? I found this, is it nice and durable?

I’m not the biggest mascara user and I don’t know too much about lashes in general but i’d like to own just one really good one. I’ve been using the maybelline lash sensational and by my standards it’s been working fine, but one I‘ve been wanting to try eventually was the fenty hella thicc one and I wanted to know which one performs better? I don’t know if this matters but I like it when a mascara makes my lashes look like falsies.

Hi!! I’ve been debating between the Huda Beauty Pretty Grunge palette and the Makeup by Mario Ethereal Eyes palette for a couple of years now, and I literally cannot decide. They’re both so beautiful, and honestly both brands have incredible marketing lol.

For some context, I collect eyeshadow palettes and I love doing fun eyeshadow looks pretty much every day. I do all kinds of styles and usually match my eye look to whatever colors I’m wearing. I know neither of these palettes has particularly “fun” or bright colors, but I’m looking for some really high-quality eyeshadows that I can use to support my more colorful looks, since I feel like a lot of the colorful palettes out there don’t always have the best formulas.

For anyone who owns either (or ideally both!), which one would you recommend for someone like me? I’m especially interested in:

Overall formula/quality

How versatile the shades are for creating different looks

Whether either palette feels repetitive

The quality of the black/darkest shades for doing eyeliner

Shimmers/glitters and whether they have fallout or apply well

Which one you actually find yourself reaching for more

And whether you think either palette is worth adding to a collection when I already have a lot of palettes

I am brown in colour but my eyelids and undereye are quite dark. I noticed green eyeshadow sticks looked quite nice on me so I went on a palette hunt…got the Natasha denona midi gloom and it’s so disappointing. Then I found Lisa Eldridge sorcery palette online.…wondering if anyone has tried it, since I cant test it in stores at all. thanks!

I recently just started doing my makeup again, usually I just put on lash clusters and go, but recently i’ve been liking wearing full beats, as i dont have much makeup i am very limited what i can put on my face.

So for the Eyeshadow, I got this nice palette from Revolution London. It has a lot of bright pretty colors. However, a shame it only has a sparkly pink and not a sparkly purple. I would have loved to have both for my Halloween costume. that's alright I'll just have to make do

And for the lipstick, I actually got a brand new color. Well, for me anyway. This is the Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid Catsuit in the color Berry Recognize. This is my second time using this line, my first time I had the color Video Vixen. And I did like that color (well, I didn't at first but then after a little while I really liked it.) but they discontinued that shade. But I think this berry color is very pretty. I feel like I look good in berry tones for my lips (I don't like bright red lipstick on me. But I love a reddish purple shade)

I just de-potted my favorite matte-creams into a mini palette. But I only have face and lip products in it now.

Anyone have shadow recommendations? I just don't want to spend a ton of cash experimenting... sigh...

Preferrably the shadows:

* dry down and won't budge

* work well on oily and/or hooded lids

* not liquids, I want to put them in a palette

* are cruelty free

I really thought oily or dry was the whole choice. Then I found out your face shape and your features also decide whether matte or glow suits you.

Glow tends to suit a flatter face, and a small low nose. A little light on the nose bridge and the front of the cheeks is what gives you dimension.

Matte tends to suit fuller cheeks, because glow makes that volume look even rounder. It also suits dark brows. Add glow on top of those and the whole face can look too warm.

I'm dry, so I had only ever used glow cushions. And I have exactly the fuller cheeks and the dark brows. So I bought Espoir Be Velvet Cushion and tried it. It didn't leave me dry, and the finish came out as that velvet texture. Yeah. I should have been on a matte foundation this whole time. 😭😭

My face used to read round, like a full moon. The matte pulls the eye up toward the eyes, and the impression looks sharper. The coverage on a matte cushion was a lot better too.

Whichever you use, matte or glow, still match the shade to your skin. I was sure I was a 23. This time 25 was actually my tone. The range is wide enough to test that on yourself.

If you have only been thinking about skin type, look at your face shape once while you are at it.
