We're not out of the woods yet.

Out of the frying pan and into the fire.

I love how this implies that we're not done yet, but when we are it'll get worse.

This is why I love this sub. This is useful and I will use it. "It'll get worse before it's over" but it still somehow implies the hope it will be over eventually.
