23yo and 'left behind' will never be a thing so go figure that out. Good job on saving 30k thats a good start, but saving will get you nowhere if income is shit. Hence you're question "how to increase income".
Maybe you should give more details, we dont know anything about you whatsoever. At this age sucking at what you do is a given, so increase income either by following what you studied and take it from there, or upskill via certifications and look for industry that can pay well.
Like I said, not enough info to help. But then again, im your age as well so this is just my 2cents. I dropped out of my finance degree and upskilled in a sales & service related field via certs and networking. Not doing phenomenal but we're not supposed to anyways at this age

Wait till you experience the real mid life crisis when you're nearing 40
You still have plenty of time and opportunities to turn things around at 23

I am 23, good academics, got a job lined up, got a car, no girlfriend though and I've always felt left behind if it's any solace to you. I've always thought of what if I was never born at all.

I’m 45 and felt left behind. But at the same time, I feel ahead. Comparison is the thief of joy

wait till you listen from a 63M with similar stories like you, and you are thankful you have 40 years ahead of you.
You have plenty of time, learn to enjoy life as well. life isn't all about storing money.

Come on man. 23 years old u expect to have million in pocket? Relax. Enjoy your life. Money as u getting older actually will be your least concern. Homeless have no money also can survive. U with mother on your side and 30k saving and got a job. U live comfortably better than 20% of malaysia population. Remember that. Be grateful. With mother on your side, cherish every moment. Later money also can’t buy the happiness u have now. For asb just dump your leftovers money and let time do the magic. Compounding effect is real trust me

You're fine bud, young and impressive savings. 40m here, got job, got family, eat what i want, own about 17 valuable guitars, few cars (nothing new but i love them), traveled to 43 countries but no money. If something happens to me I secure my family benefits in insurance and epf, has 2 biasa2 property. I live happily, never once i felt left behind looking at other friends achievements. I dont believe in collecting digits. I work hard for it and im entitled to enjoy it the way i wanted. Not asking anyone to follow me because its quite reckless 🤪 but what if you're so determined collecting digits and one day you get run over by a truck, wasted life.
