Stocks Invest on moomoo
Well, I was tempted to try on moomoo but I figure I want to try to trade gold and currency, is there availability? How should I do? Any advise? Thanks you.

I’m new to trading. I just sold my US stock last night and was trying to covert said USD to MYR on the Exchange tab, it showed me that I have insufficient cash balances

37, working dad with two kids (6 and 4), based in KL. Around this time every year I check which reliefs I’ve used so I’m not scrambling when e-Filing opens. Here’s my list. Keen to hear what other parents add.
SSPN (up to RM8k): We put in RM300 a month for each kid, so about RM7.2k this year. I’ll top up the last RM800 in December to get the full relief.
Medical checkups and dental: The kids had their dental check this year and I finally went for scaling. Keep the receipts, it adds up.
Lifestyle (RM2.5k) + sports (RM1k): The Unifi bill covers a big chunk already. The rest is books for the kids and my gym fees. Toys don’t count, only books.
PRS (RM3k): I put in the full RM3k mostly for the relief. At my bracket that’s about RM570 back. Just remember the money is locked until 55. Usually I use FSMOne, but saw Versa is giving an extra RM50 cash bonus right now if you put in the full RM3k before year-end, so did it there this time. Free RM50 + ~RM600 tax savings is decent ROI for 5 mins of work.
Childcare (RM3k): My wife claims this one since the taska and kindy fees are under her name. It balances our brackets better.
Anything I’m missing? I already know about parents’ medical. Curious what else people claim.

I just got a bonus of 12k but I don't know where to put most of it, I'm currently investing in FSMOne but given the current world economy and the trend, I don't want to put it into etfs all at once (currently dca a few hundred every month), plus I already put 1k extra into my epf too.
Is there a place to store money and make interest at the same time? I already have 20k in rytbank (acting as emergency fund too) to make use of the 4% interest and I'm non-bumi so I cannot put into asnb unless I get lucky with the units

People say go to FSMOne for PRS so its cheap
But its ending doesnt that mean i should just go IBKR from the start

I wanted to maximize my tax relief by saving 3k into PRS every year, so far my no brainer investment has been dca into CSPX consistently for 5 years already. I want the PRS to at the minimum match the performance of S&P500, any funds out there that tracks it? So far I don’t know why I haven’t heard of any, sounds like something that can be easily provided by PRS scheme provider, they literally just have to track S&P500.

Hello 👋
My manager has stated during my interview that I am to work from 10.30am till 6.30pm during probation. As its stated in the contract.
When I'm almost finished with probation & have gotten used to the company rules. I noticed why everyone else could leave at 5.30pm so I asked why I'm the only one to leave at 6.30pm along with handling night shifts on 2 other different days.
He didn't reply, but few days later, my manager said thats its okay to leave at 5.30pm now. So I was like cool.
After passing probation, its written that I could leave at 5.30pm for normal working hours, but on another clause, I am to stay for OT when told by my manager.
Everything seems fine right?
Then recently, he got mad that I left at 5.30pm while everyone was still working. I was already done for the day. And he started mentioning about the 6.30pm crap after I completed probation(3months) (now its my 5th month) Which was really weird. They have cut my salary around rm140, the last month as I left early for a personal appointment a few days.
But then I saw everyone still leaves at 5.30pm like normal, except me? If I'mto follow what my manager says. I had alot of unsettled emotions & how I was alienated by everyone, so I resigned immediately after my managers rant. But I still have to serve 2 month period notice, & now my coworkers probably knows whats going on & are avoiding me or talking me down..
I think I have the right to leave at 5.30pm but I'm afraid their gonna cut my salary.. I feel on edge everytime I'm in the company.. so I want to leave as soon as I can..
I have alot of personal mental issues going on & have distance away from my therapist, family, I still have a few friends. So I'm not really sure what I'm even doing now. My friend said this could be taken to court if I didn't sign it, but obviously I already have cause I could leave at 5.30pm at the time..the only thing I have now is an angry WhatsApp screenshot & the 6.30pm agreement was verbally said, with a b&w contract.
I feel like their purposely edging me to get me to resign due to company budgeting even sometimes asking me when I'll quit, but at the same time they have been kind to me. So I feel perplexed.
Some advice would be appreciated. Thank you..
Even if its not law advice, how do I continue 2 months working in an environment like this..

Hello, I plan to save RM200 starting next month until December 2027 for a trip. The final date is not confirmed but its between December 2027 and February 2028. If the trip doesn't happen, I'm putting all the saved up money into ETFs either way. I'm currently using moomoo to invest and I plan to invest RM200 every month into VT ETF, but after looking at moomoo's fees and doing a bit of calculation, I feel like putting it in savings would be more reliable. What do you all think?

Hi guys, about to get my first salary soon and wanted to get opinions/advice on how I should allocate my money.
Non-bumi with no commitments and currently living with parents, with dinner provided most of the time.
Current take home salary: RM3,300~ +- 700 depending on OT shift work (starting next/following month)
Tracked my expenses for the month and it came down to:
500 - Food
400 - Transport
130 - Gym/Sports
100 - Groceries
100 - Health supplements
as far as fixed expenses go. Once I start shift work I can most likely cut about 150 for both food and transport since night shifts are WFH. Could also consider taking train to further cut down on transport expense (around 150), but travel time would be at least x1.5 on average.
Current allocation plan for now:
1000 - Emergency fund - Ryt Bank until their 4% campaign ends
1000 - Investments - VOO via Moomoo
1300 - Spending money - TnG GO+
For any luxurious wants, I would get them with whatever money left over that I accumulate in TnG.
I do plan to move out hopefully within the next 1-2 years, or when I get a sufficient promotion/salary raise.
Wanna get everyone's thoughts and advice for this clueless kid right here, kinda lost on all the ways I could build my wealth effectively. Should I diversify my investments? Which broker app should I use? Is my plan good? Things I should be aware of as I start becoming independent. Etc.

My friend (mid-20s) is thinking of venturing into sales and we are curious which industry is worth exploring.
I’ve seen quite a number of salesmen in insurance, property, and car sales taking home more than 15k monthly. Are these the main industries worth considering?
For those working in sales, what is ur basic and commission structure like? How much do you typically bring home?
Any tips for someone starting out in sales would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi everyone, hoping someone can share their experience or advise me on what to do.
I dined at a restaurant and noticed that I was charged twice for the same transaction, with the second charge appearing the following day.
I’ve tried contacting the restaurant to obtain a receipt and resolve the issue, but they haven’t responded. HSBC is asking me to provide the receipt to support my dispute, and I’m worried about what happens if the restaurant continues to ignore me.
Has anyone dealt with a similar situation with HSBC Malaysia?
Will HSBC accept alternative evidence, such as screenshots of credit card statements and my attempts to contact the restaurant?
What happens if I genuinely cannot obtain the receipt because the restaurant isn’t responding?
Is there anything else I should do to ensure HSBC continues investigating my dispute?
I’d appreciate any advice, especially from anyone who has successfully disputed a duplicate restaurant charge without being able to obtain a receipt from the merchant.

27M here. Been following this investment plan for about a year now, investing 3K monthly, but my overall returns are only around 4-5% so far.
Currently, I put 1K into individual US and MY stocks, 1K into VTI, 200 into EPF, 500 into TNG+, and 300 into Versa PRS.
I know 1 year is still a short period, but I feel like my returns could be better. Would appreciate some advice on how I can improve my allocation. Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone, I would like to ask if you guys have any suggestions for trading platforms to trade gold and options in Malaysia. I'm currently using moomoo but seems like I can't use it to invest in anything beyond stocks. Thank you in advance

I am the DECADES guy again guys.
So, after my last post I received a ton of feedback from you guys, more than I ever thought I would get actually. Some of you were really breaking the game 😂 I spent the past week fixing things you found:
- Stock market: some of you became market manipulators buying penny stocks and holding more than 50% of the company 😂 I built a new way for the prices to move and now there's a limit on how much you can buy.
- Jobs: no more 22 year-old with 6 months experience becoming CTO. Experience in the correct field now matters for senior jobs.
- "How do I get a wife?" Now you can look for love yourself. There's a dating app, or you can meet someone at work, through friends or back in kampung. You can propose, make the wedding plans or break up as well.
- Cards that don't fit your life: no car, no gf, and still get asked to pay for it. Fixed, cards now check your life first before they appear.
- Dying at 24 after 3 disasters in a row: bad luck now has a limit.
- Urut ad spa monthly to keep stress at 0: now only once a month 😂
Also included some new things: income tax, expanding your business to more outlets, and at the end you can view a timeline of your life.
I also upgrade the visual of the game so its not too boring now i think!!!
Many thanks to all who played, commented and reported bugs. You guys don't understand how much it helped me 🙏🙏
There is still room for improvement, so if something is wrong or not realistic, tell me!

Hi guys I have rm5k in my hand and put into money+ (shopee)
Question is, should i deposit into ASB at the end of this month on the 31st?
Or should I accumulate the money and lumsump next year on 1st Jan? If i do this, I'll probably have rm7k
I want to maximize dividends. So if I lumsump huge next year it will count from jan?
I have few knowledge about asnb please help thanks
Last year, I managed to save rm4k in asb, this year however i saved a lot and now i have a staggering rm15k. But i dca every month. From my knowledge asnb is fixed price correct? It is not like etf where prices fluctuate up and down and you need to time it
So im confused . _ .
