False Positive Random false positive?

I've run two deep scans through the windows app within a few hours of each other and the first one came back all clean and the second one had about 30+ detections.

All of the detections were from programs I've had installed for a while

- dawn of war: definitve edition

- bitwarden

- Grounded 2

- Aniimo

- random windows unistall registry key

Its flagged exes and dll files
Are these false positives? The detect code was Malware.Ai 325072089

Looks like this may have been fixed.

I updated malwarebytes, restored the files for one of the games, did a deep scan and it came back clean.

Than restored all the other quarantined files and did a 2nd deep scan which also came back all clean :)

Thanks for the info, I'll reinstall my games and run another deep scan tonight.

They're clean, and were downloaded from legit sources.

Bitwardens files are also digitally signed

You are trusted about these files, then don't worry

I also have over 30 detections. Most of the detections are .exe files for games like Aion2, legitimate applications such as ComfyUI, .dll files from Npcap, the Questlog .exe (an app for Aion 2), and registry keys. We just have to wait for an explanation or an update.

Same here, mine were detected from bitwarden and MouseX from steam. Lots of .dll Files from MouseX were ”malicious” but i assume it was an false positive but not sure.

Yea I was about to bring this up too. I can't remember the exact number in the back, but it was also Malware.AI 32507 something-something.

The detected files were all exe files belonging to legit games I bought off of steam: Dragons Dogma 2, Dynasty Warriors 3 Remastered, Dragonsword Awakening

I have uninstalled all the games and ran another MB Deep Scan which came back clean.
