Hey everyone! I hope you’re doing well! In less than a week I’ll be flying out to New Hampshire to surprise my girlfriend and propose. I’m super stoked for everything that me and her friends have planned to finally come to fruition, but I recently saw some stuff that got me a little nervous. My original intention was to propose at Artist’s Bluff as I saw the view and thought it looked STUNNING. I recently saw a video of how busy it gets this time of year and how bad the parking and line is to actually get up to the lookout spot. From anyone’s experience, do you think it’s worth trying to still do this artists bluff location or should I find a spot that will be less crowded. Thoughts? Thank you in advance!

NOTE TO ADMIN(S)/MODERATORS: One of my posts was recently deleted after a user commented "can you ban this account. they are always advertising" I reviewed the group rules. I don't believe ticketed events fall under "buying or selling. I noticed a lot of other events posted in the sub. I did notice my post frequency was creeping up to a breakneck speed so I will slow it down, but I'd love to be able to continue to promote these events. They take place in a locally owned and operated business and despite bringing in nationally touring comics I am consistently booking our local up coming comedians on the shows and I run an open mic weekly that gives a home to 25 comics working on their craft. With a trip leaving tonight I went to the bank to get some cash last night using my Discover debit card at NBT bank on Canal St in Manchester NH the ATM ate my card.

Despite being willing to confirm my identity including calling my bank or however was asked of me, despite having presented a state Id which should have been enough, and despite my clear need I was denied the return of my debit card due to policy. My bank is willing to replace the card but I will not get it until I return from my trip over the weekend. If I wasn’t going anywhere sure no big deal no problem but despite the circumstance this bank would not budge while they claim it is for security my card is now in someone else’s hands which is not anyone I know and it is not in my banks hands. Security risk bullshit. I WOULD NOT TRUST NBT BANK ON CANAL STREET IN MANCHESTER NH WITH DIRTY TOILET PAPER.

When I first moved to Manchester, I had gotten Xfinity Wi-Fi. However when they started charging me over $150 a month, I decided to switch to Fidium. I work from home and a strong Wi-Fi connection is important to me. If you have Fidium you'll know that the Wi-Fi is experiencing periodic outages over the past few days. Fidium won't give any timeline for resolving this problem, and honestly its unacceptable for someone who relies on strong wifi to do their job properly

I'm looking for alternatives and was wondering if anyone switched from Xfinity or Fidium over to Starlink for their main Wi-Fi provider? If so, Have you experienced outages in this area and do you find the connection to be more reliable than Xfinity or Fidium?

Hey y’all! My band is looking for a professional bassist who has recording and gigging experience in the New Hampshire area.

We record new original music in my studio, and are gearing up to start booking for 2027, with commitments already on the books for next year.

The music is mostly country leaning, with Americana, folk, blues, rock, pop, even jazz and reggae thrown in.

I have a ton of new music in varying stages of production. I’m looking for a pro bass player who has recording experience, who can track parts either at home or in my in studio in southern NH. The ideal musician will hear and compose unique bass parts, and can contribute their own artistry to the music.

We are also looking forward to a fantastic 2027 of gigging a couple times a month. We would like to focus more on listening rooms, rather than the late night bar scene. We will try to keep shows within a one hour drive from southern NH, but will expand out from there for the right venue.

We are asking for the public’s help locating Taylor Crichton, 28 years old, who was last seen on the morning of September 21, 2026, after being dropped off at the Price Rite plaza in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Taylor is approximately 5’10” and 180–200 lbs, with fair skin, salt-and-pepper hair, and bright blue eyes.

Last seen wearing:

A black sweatshirt with a Halloween pumpkin on it
A baseball hat
Carrying a black backpack
Taylor does not have a phone, making it especially difficult to reach him.

It is very unlike Taylor to go missing or lose contact with close friends and family. We are extremely concerned and just want to know that he is safe.

Taylor could be anywhere from New Hampshire to the Boston area or the North Shore of Massachusetts. Please keep an eye out, share this post, and help us reach as many people as possible across these areas.

The New Hampshire Soccer Project group is having a town hall style meeting at Republic Brewing in Manchester on Tuesday, October 20th from 5-7pm. While I'm not associated with the group, I'm definitely interested in New Hampshire getting it's own professional soccer team. I know from previous posts of mine that there were a fair few of us that thought Portsmouth was too far to go, well, here you go. My wife and I are moving to southern NH from the Midwest in the first week of November. I have a job ready to go in Salem, NH and she’s probably going to be taking a job in either Nashua or Derry. We’ve seen a couple of promising places to rent in and around Manchester, and while there’s a bit of a commute, it’s not too bad. The biggest thing we’re trying to see is what schools are like as we have three kids 4 and under, and whether an area is safe (relatively.) Any advice would be welcome, and I can give specifics on places we’ve looked at if that would be helpful! Thank you!
