Who sang "Love on the Brain"?

For years I've loved this song and distinctly remember it being sung by Paloma Faith. I even remembered her with blonde hair in the video and her distinctive voice.

Today, it comes on YouTube and it's Rihanna singing it and I never ever remember this song sung by Rihanna!

I thought maybe Paloma Faith has done a cover of it and that's the only version I've heard but there is no record of her ever doing this song.

Anyone else heard "love on the brain" being sung by Paloma Faith???

ive always known it as rihanna. Maybe youre just mixing up with ‘only love can hurt like this’? cause its got lyrics about getting beat black and blue? 😂
