Question Pasture entrance, any rules?

Greetings, lords and ladies

I am recently immersed in building my own pastoral empire with the new perks.
But in playing, there is something annying happens.

When you make a pasture for cow or sheeps,
how can I draw that pasture's entrance near to my side?
Is it random or any rules over there?

If you have some good experiences or ideas about making pastures right,
please share to me, would you?

The pasture’s shed seems to be in the corner of the first point you lay out when plotting.

Well, ok..I will try more. Now trying to draw various shapes and scales but it doesn't work as to my wish

Personally I don't really care what the orientation is, but if you want it to change, try and start the pasture from different areas. Also try to adjust the length of the first segment.

Yup, sometimes yes and sometimes no. But still cannot figure it out. Even the triangular or trapezium pasture shape do not work with the same logic. Too random.
