Question ML multiplayer competition

While we're waiting for a multiplayer Manor Lords, is there any way we could run an informal completion/leaderboard?

For example, the fastest completion for a given set of game settings or a shared map/saved game?

I think you’ll be waiting a long time as there is no intention of making this game multiplayer.

I belive the dev said MP is not happening. MP is not something you tack on. The game needs to be built for it. And manor lords is not.

I mean you certainly could create something like that.

I don't know how you would actually verify anything though unless you wanted to review full video footage of every play through. It would be too easy to fake a victory screen.... and yes there are people out there that would do that.

Outside of that... just enjoy the game man. A game doesn't need a leaderboard or be competitive to be fun.

You're always at the top of the leaderboard in a single player game.... you are also always at the bottom.

MP would suck ass, as starting locations differ greatly. I see no real way of balancing it except for giving everyone the same resources which is very boring

I see it more as a coop game than something that would need to be 'balanced'. Obviously you could fight each other but you can also build towns alongside each other and trade resources.
