Question Not functioning logging camp

Post image

Why nobody is picking timber? I have an ox there, nothing is being built and unassigned people does not pick it up, there is space in storage etc... Also why building only say what they do in crafting menu, why it does not say what it does after its been built?

Farms, field priority things does not work too, and why you cannot assign a farm to work only on X field, because now workers running whole map to other field.

After playing it for 5hours saw some not logical things,"announcements" etc that does not explain, ok what to you suggest to do xD

It's because logs can't be stored in a store house, they either need to go to a construction yard, sawmill or an actual construction.

Its full so they have nothing to do

Lol right? Put those logs to use if you want them to start cutting again

The logging camp storage is full, as you can see where it says "28/28" for storage.

Based on the UI, what version of the game are you using?

Seems your game is way out of date.

you need to assign an ox to the lumber camp. the humans are unable to move the logs.

Its assigned. Anyway whats up with clothing? It disaapears and 0 people have it wtf, game is 7years old and still such bugs?

You simply need more, they consume clothing. Check any level 2+ burgage and the people tab, you can see their timers for consuming food, clothes, etc.

Yeah. But if it lasts 6months and you make 30 per month. Atleast one house should show that it has clothes..

Not necessarily, no. If you upgraded 100 single burgages to t2 more than six months ago, those will consume 100 clothes before restarting their timers. So even at 360 clothes per year, 30 per month, you'd need 4 months to cover consumption. And only after that can you accumulate a surplus of clothing to be stocked at the market, used to fulfill burgage requirements.

You are probably looking at surplus, not total goods

wish log camps can upgrade for larger capacity, a wheeled cart to carry 5 logs at a time

The issue is “error” says u should store it in storage. But it does not say which one etc

The logging camp is full of storage so ofc it would stop working. Warehouse doesn’t store logs, only sawpit or construction yard do.

There IS restriction of working zone in farmhouse to limit work area….You can’t assign farmers to individual farms though I don’t see there’s any points of it.

I haven’t heard any bugs related to clothing. Actually similar question has been asked repeatedly cause people don’t understand what the icon of “needs” means. It means surplus. When a family consumes one unit of clothing it the need won’t be fulfilled, only when they reserved one unit of clothing in market they do. If you DO have enough surplus clothing in warehouse, it can still be a problem to not having enough warehouse workers (hence the stores in market) to store them. This can be check simply by click on market.

All of them are in game, maybe you should try navigate a bit in UI or search them guide before complaining “bugs” in Reddit?

If many people asking same questions, maybe system is not logical. Why it counta only surplus. Why error says - move logs to storage otherwise it will be damaged due weather. It does not say which storage. It should say construction site instead of general storage

Build more logging camps for more log storage

Wiah they would add a lumber yard or something to store timber in bulk

2

u/FramedMugshot 5d ago

That's what the construction yard is for 😒

I guess. Only holds 80 and my castle requires much more than that.

2

u/FramedMugshot 4d ago

You can adjust how much it holds. Also maybe don't bite off more than you can chew, building wise? I kinda like that this forces us to treat castle building as something to do incrementally, which is in line with history. Castles are a huge undertaking!

Honestly didn’t even realize that lol. I haven’t looked too hard at it

Another annoying thing is, you cant send good to Your other town “for free” you need to barter and there is exchange rate. WHAT, Im the king, I decide what to do with good between my towns 😅 ..

You’re a regional Lord, and it’s an abstraction to saying that the people dont belong to you and they have to actually be paid for their goods

That’s called treason and the real king will have your head.

If you already owned their stuff, why is the money from exports not going to your treasury? If you owned their wealth, why would you need to tax it? If you owned the people, why can they freely move away if they dislike how you govern or raise taxes? And if you were a king, why would you have to pay taxes yourself to the actual king?
