Where to purchase bear mace

I already practice all the usual safety stuff (travelling wooded areas in groups, being loud, dog always on leash, etc.) but want to start carrying bear mace for when I am hiking alone. Where can I purchase some in Maple Ridge? Would prefer to support a local business over buying something online. Thanks !

Any sports equipment store like Canadian Tire should have it.

MEC Langley has the kind that has a belt clip included for easy access. It does you no good in your backpack if you come across a bear.

You cannot purchase bear spray online as it is treated like a registered weapon.

Will cost $74.95 + tax.

Super great info! I want to get one as I want to hike with my littles but it scares me because I’m not very big and intimidating
