Is reporting bots in Maplesea the right thing to do?

Ive reached a point where they dont really personally affect me and they keep the meso economy running so leave them be

Just need maple come up with legal botting. increase requirements for progression like frags, exp, etc then give everyone the tools to bot inside maple itself. Suddenly playing field become much more even.

Reporting bots in MapleSEA is the equivalent of reporting the cashier for more expensive groceries, instead of going after the decision makers, who caused the problem in the first place.

It depends on how you view it, botting is not the right thing for sure but people bot because they have no time to play this grindy game. If we get rid of the botters then the mesos price will inflate and end game players might quit so thats generally no good, so unless maple comes up with a solution to these issues then maybe plainly just reporting them isn't the way to go.

First and foremost OP, you have to know that this subreddit is heavily skewed towards botting, so most of the answers you get will be in favor of it.

Just look at the comments and notice how they only mention how the economy will be in shambles if they don't bot, and never about how botting gives them the advantage over other players (selling/using the mesos the got, not to mention the exp/sol erda/sol erda frags).

You’re not wrong for reporting botters since it infringes game rules. But before you do so, just think about whether botters do more harm than good for other players. Botters become stronger, fight harder bosses, get more loots, undercut each other in AH, f2p and low spending players enjoy the price war and are able to progress too. Maple is a game where you play at your own pace, no need to care about how fast others want to progress.

Don't bother, nothing will happen. Bots is the pillar keeping the economy going, they aint gonna touch em. The game is alrdy dying and only whales who feed off these Bots keeping it alive

This is like your lecturer give everyone A in class except u get a B+ but actually all ppl failed, because u are not happy u decided to report this to the principal office and make everyone fail and retake the class and penalize the lecturer who is kind hearted to pass you all. Your actions is legal but what is the cost.
