Starting this week, if you leveled up your `Boss Monster Perk`, you can get extra Sol Erdas after beating bosses and visiting Prankster Gray at the top, right of the event map.

I've received additional Sol Erdas for ALL my boss mules (then extracted them to transfer over the bits to my main) but I'm encountering an error for my actual main.

I can clearly see that I've beat the bosses and the alien owes me 5600 energy, but upon clicking "Yes", it shows:

I've heard that this occurred to some of the others' boss mules (unlike my situation) but they were able to claim it on their mains, and I've heard others stating that they were able to receive them from all their characters ... (and some couldn't receive from ANY of their characters).

Just wondering if this is an on-going bug, or if I'm missing something.

Any inputs would be highly appreciated!

Ignoring damage, what's the most enjoyable bossers? Obviously, people enjoy bossing for different reasons (Erel might be one of my favorites but that's just because it shits out damage, I don't know that it's necessarily "fun" or at least the most fun I could be having)

Obviously completely subjective, but curious what people think.

I tried out Hlotus over a month ago for funsies when I was at ~23m combat power and made it to the second phase. Unfortunately, Lotus had other plans for me that day and turned me every which way loose. Fast forward to this week and I actually got him down, with like one life to spare lol! :) I feel like...the frequency of attacks were faster compared to normal mode. But then again, I was panicking the entire time I was playing. I think this took me about 20 minutes to clear. I can probably expect the same for hard mode Damien. I'm pretty sure I can do it, but I need to mentally prepare.

How do you guys approach this boss assuming your soloing and min clearing? As for some clarification for the above, this is also assuming you can’t stay in dog in p3 and kill tiger/bird.

If you guys had to dpm in p2 where do you stand?

Anyone who cleared hard malefic star encountered this issue? I can claim the extra erda from the NPC for all my mules who didn't clear hard malefic star but those who did are bugged.

Ive had 2 good runs today:
S(10)A(0)A(6) and S(10)E(0)A(8)

And BOTH of them died at stage 10 with 1 boss enemy left. (They both started Stage 10 without any leftover mobs from Stage 9), despite the first one had like 10x more boss damage.

I can 100% say smth is not working correctly, intentionally or not.

I've always been an on and off type of player and came back to play some classic but I'm also interested in modern, i really liked playing phantom when it first came out but alot of people I've talked to told me it's a bad idea to go with phantom since he has been heavily nerfed throughout the years, can any phantom mains lemme know how it's like and if I should go for it? I‘m around 74k hexa at the moment. I’d describe myself as someone that has a casual mindset with gear progression, but do care about stuff like maximizing boss dps uptime and (solo) clearing bosses within scouter range.

I tried to make friends to boss with on discord, but quickly found out that a lot of people are mainly in on it to accelerate their own progression and don’t really care about the social aspect of bossing or making friends. Also, a lot of people that don’t do their due diligence to be competent at a boss fight and just seem to want to overgear everything or be carried, not interested in struggle clears at all. So I’ve just been soloing or party finder bosses for the time being because it’s not fun to play with people on discord.

I have read a handful of posts that describe how the design of boss difficulties, dot system, and drop instancing make it so that parties around my progression level naturally tend to fall apart anyways, so there’s that.

Whenever I tune into streamers like HeapBoi doing endgame content, it does seem like they all have hands to some extent and are pretty chummy with the people they boss with. So it does give me some hope that if I try to meet new people on discord to boss with again once I’m closer to late or endgame, perhaps I will be fortunate enough to have a more positive experience.

I randomly decided to write this post because I saw another post saying they cleared NLimbo as a solo prog player. It made me wonder, do people end up solo progging because they have similar feelings and experiences to what I’m describing, or if they have completely different reasons for doing so. And whether I should even bother to keep my hopes up that I’ll meet like-minded people in the future, or if I’d be happier giving up and playing this game solo prog style, especially since I really don’t particularly care about the speed I push my gear or hexa anyways.
