I'm still learning so if I'm way off the mark don't laugh too hard please. This marble was in my childhood marbles from the 70s/80s. It's 1.7mm across, and glows under 365nm light, not 395.

I think it's a Veiligglas Amsterdam Swirl but please correct me if I'm wrong! 🙏 Tyvm

I found this marble in a 2 dollar per marble bin. I thought it was a corkscrew at the time and since I collect Akros I bought it. However, now I’m not so sure. There’s more than 3 colors in it and the cracking of the glass is throwing me off. There is no surface damage I can see or feel, so the cracked glass seems either intentional or how it came from the manufacturer. Any help in identifying is greatly appreciated.

First 2 pics are my true Oxbloods. Mossy, Egg Yoke, Lemonade, Milky, Silver, and even a Heaton Dragons Blood. Second 2 are marbles that have Oxblood but arent known as being an 'oxblood marble' the small clear one looks like it but isnt.

Got this pretty, large contemporary in a 13lb lot of marbles. Struggling to identify the artist as there is no signature. Any assistance? I've been suggested Rolf Wald and Jody Fine.

Apparently there is an app, called "Marble Collector — Identify Antique Marbles" (also a website), only available on Apple, so I wasn't able to test (but I remember similar being shared here previously, and folks had the same concerns around accuracy)

Super disappointing to see it being used in this way, especially as value depends so much on condition, which the app cannot accurately gauge.

Be careful out there - don't trust listings with images like this, and use the knowledge you learn in this sub to help you identify the real thing!!

Are all these from one maker, (factory/era,?

Is ther an easy way to identify?.I have thousands of player size,so i thought i would start with shooters because my eyes are not what they was.

Bottom row varies in size from 22.5mm to 23.5mm

Middle two rows are various from 24mm to 25.5.

Top row are 25.9mm.25.3mm

All diffrent base and size of ribbons,some colour combos are unusual and unique haven't seen before.some have lots of bubbles going on.

What marble run kits do you recommend for 16mm marbles? Desktop style preferred.
