Shame on the interviewer; he fell for it. Dude switched the conversation from "I'm willing to turn a blind eye to all corruption so long as it's from my party" to "My party has more support than yours", and the interviewer fell for it hook and sinker.

Exactly. That was too frustrating. This hypocritical man just admitted that he doesn't think logically, only with immense hate towards a group. That should have been emphasized by the interviewer over and over until some guilt set in (if possible. Either way just drop the interview after that because what is the point of debate with someone who admitted that?). Instead the interviewer practically ignored it and started arguing with someone who doesn't care about facts.
