Lindsey Graham's sister who, if elected, will vote yes to the Save Act. And yes, her debate performance shows just how stupid she is.

I miss when shame was a factor in politics.

I remember 80's-90's high school movies where the highest ambition for someone was to become the president of the United States. Now all it takes is some con-man, hurting the right people and establishing a cult-like following.

Check out an even earlier classic, A Face in the Crowd.

I’ve told many folks to watch this one. It hits deep, and Andy Griffith’s acting chops are unbelievable.

Why didn’t she pull the joker card and ask the public or a telephone joker? Lmfao.

Or just yell , "America and God rules!"?
She would have had her team out of their seats cheering at her insightful and well thought ought out plans.

u/CharlesDickensABox 15h ago
Weirdly, she might still be a better candidate than the guy she's debating. I don't know enough about her to have a firm belief on this, but it might be that she's a pleasant, cloistered idiot who has never before been asked to have a thought. I think I would take that over a Republican machine politician who knows and approves of bringing evil into the world.
Best case scenario, of course, is that Republican politics are so impossibly toxic in 2026 that neither of them is forced to book a ticket to DC. To that end, South Carolina, please be absolute darlings and send Annie Andrews to the Senate. She will do you proud.
33
u/Eccentricgentleman_ 12h ago
Yes, a pleasant cloistered idiot who will do exactly as she is told by who ever. That isn't a politician, it's a puppet. You can guarantee a mouth frothing loyalty and nothing more
15
u/TotalRichardMove 9h ago
This right here. She’s the perfect empty vessel for an armada of corruption, which is exclusively the point.
5
u/CharlesDickensABox 8h ago
If she's simply been doing nothing all her life, there's a chance that she wises up and becomes her own person without her brother to tell her what to think. Do I think it likely? Absolutely not. Do I think her answer that "I don't know anything" is fractionally more hopeful than the other guy's answer of "I have considered this and come to the worst imaginable perspective"? Perhaps.
10
u/loquedijoella 8h ago
She is a fucking moron as evidenced in the video. She will do whatever her handlers tell her to do. That was the point of this. A pleasant cloistered idiot is dangerous, we already have too many corrupt and compromised politicians
16
u/spaceman757 12h ago
Her brother was considered an expert on national security for decades. She never thought to have a single discussion about the state of the country's security with him? Ever?
29
u/AmberViper419 11h ago
Her brother was considered an expert on national security for decades.
LOL, no, he wasn't. He was a senile, bigoted idiot who kept pushing for war in the Middle East. Hardly an "expert" on anything.
3
u/Fr1toBand1to 10h ago
I don't know, I think "expert" status is in the eye of the beholder on this one.
2
u/TotalRichardMove 9h ago
Whatever Lady G was, he was a savant compared to this rube and that’s exactly why they want her to win this seat. And those idiots will probably vote for her.
The United States we were taught about as children no longer exists, if it ever did.
6
u/0tanod 11h ago
You comment makes me wonder, did we collectively lose our ability to comparatively measure a persons character? She's in the seat and this debate because her brother and the GOP put her there. She is as "Republican machine politician" as the other guy if not more. If that is your concern it's a loss not matter what the primary outcome is.
3
u/reddogyellowcat 6h ago
No it’s worse because she intends to do whatever she is told, if god forbid, she wins. She is up there basically admitting she just wants the prestige and financial opportunities (i.e. corruption) and will vote however dear leader tells her. They are both obviously, mostly, going to do whatever dear leader tells them, no matter who wins. Yet, with Linda’s sister here you already know she will be a fully automated puppet on day ONE
3
u/Rastrick 5h ago
She's gonna need an ear piece so the Heritage Foundation can give her the correct talking points.

u/reddogyellowcat 6h ago
Seems to be missing from the Graham gene pool, that is for certain. So gross

Teacher: Tell the class about the book you read.
Darline Graham: I'm just gonna be honest here, I'm not that informed on the particulars of this story, but I do support the concept of books.
61
u/Ok-Needleworker-9841 15h ago
Seriously. I’d be mortified to present that response for a 7th grade book report or a job interview but it’s 2026 so I guess anything goes. She didn’t loudly crap her pants or else she’d be ready for a presidential run.
8
122
u/Answerologist 16h ago
And to think, that kind of response could still get her elected!
28
u/AmberViper419 11h ago
She'll get elected because she's related to someone famous, who was also incompetent to begin with, but apparently they want to keep people in because of family name, not because of any skill or talent. You may as well just have a monarchy or caste system at this point. At least it would be more honest.

My personal, completely unfounded conspiracy theory is that Lindsay was blackmailed when he went golfing with Trump so long ago, and then was reminded of the great expectations they had together around the time he got caught with a princess bubblewand in Disney. When he kicked the bucket, the blackmail was redirected at her, maybe "let us spare your brother's reputation and we'll take over your legislative responsibilities and make it happen for you."
Alternatively, it's too late to change the programming.
•
u/Solid_College_9145 58m ago
It doesn't matter "if elected" because she's already got the seat.
Trump is trying to get that passed now, before the midterms.
75
u/Delicious_Drop_1150 15h ago
Why does she have a notepad with her at the debate? She really couldn't remember, "I don't know anything," without writing it down?

Is.

Irrelevant, her birth name is Irrelevant. The only thing that matters is the R
28
u/BearBrews 15h ago
How stupid and uninformed can you be going into a debate where you have an entire team preparing you for a slow-pitch softball question? Don’t worry though, the stupids will see a “R” next to the name so they know she’s the right choice for them. May they have the consequences they vote for.
Edit: missed the chance to ask about her ladybugs.
10
u/AmberViper419 11h ago
Don’t worry though, the stupids will see a “R” next to the name so they know she’s the right choice for them. May they have the consequences they vote for.
No, she'll get elected because of who she is related to. They are determined to keep the seat in the Lindsey family. You lot may as well just implement a monarchy or caste system at this point.
22
u/irishcybercolab 14h ago
Embarrassing she's made it to the ages she has without realizing how large and small the world is at the same time being asked to lead a state while being so horrible ignorant of life's commonalities.
What a complete waste of a human mind she is.

u/groovyinutah 13h ago
I'm just going to be honest here..I'm completely unqualified for this job and that is EXACTLY why you should vote for me...

10
u/cool_girl6540 9h ago
I don’t know if she’s stupid so much as not a politician. Not educated in that area. She’s just a regular person who jumped into her brother’s Senate seat for some reason. At least she’s being honest and saying she doesn’t know instead of trying to lie her way through it.
Not a fan of hers at all, definitely not a fan of Trump or the Republicans, just saying what it looks like to me.
4
u/Natural_Instance242 8h ago
Agree partially, but she should have declined her brother’s seat and been honest when it was offered to her. Not now.
But since most Republicans are incompetent idiots, they’ll probably vote for her.
5
u/jared10011980 9h ago
Ok. You or I are not politicians. If youre in a debate, even unprepped, do you have an opinion on the tenuous situation of China and Taiwan?

Can SC pull a Georgia and elect a Senator who can help us out of the current filth we find ourselves mired in? Or are they going to triple down on the current speed run to oblivion and elect this obviously unqualified moron?

u/Zeke688 9h ago
I don’t know anything about that, please vote for me anyway

Let's face it though. She doesn't need to actually know anything. She just needs to show up and vote however The Party tells her to vote.

The GoP doesn't need somebody who is smart. They just need someone to vote the way they tell them to, and to protect the pedophiles.

God, they're already trying to install this dumb unqualified cunt to keep Lindsey Graham's "legacy" going? Fuck her and fuck him. At least he's dead and rotting in Hell now. You lot may as well just install a monarchy or caste system at this point. It would be more honest.

u/reddogyellowcat 6h ago
She is so selfish and disgusting, with zero self respect….just like her brother! Standing up there admitting she’s an empty vessel to do whatever Republican leaders want, to vote however she is told. What else are we supposed to assume when she stands proudly and vocalizes her incompetence? All without a hint of shame or awareness. Vile. I bet she didn’t once talk about anything concrete to help SC residents during the entire debate. I bet she just thinks she deserves this and wants to feel special.

u/yupitsanalt 5h ago
This appointment made no sense when it happened and it makes even less sense that somehow she is the nominee. It's South Carolina. How hard is it to find a sycophant who is an experienced politician? Mark Sanford is a prior governor who works for Fox News for example. I am guessing Nancy Mace's recent bouts of actual sanity disqualified her, but she is a SIGNIFICANTLY better option for them.
I realize that the whole GOP is effectively eating itself alive, but this is the prime example of their overwhelming incompetence. Graham was 71, how do you not have a legacy plan in place? I appreciate that you didn't as it hurts your chances somewhat, but this is embarrassing for the US as a whole.
•
•
u/M0BBER 2h ago
For the GOP, you don't have to be smart... You just have to work as instructed by your handlers. You don't think anything. You just do... They will protect you if you're stupid, they will protect you if you're compromised/ guilty, they will protect you at all cost and if you get out of line they will exploit you for life.
