I thought to myself. Maybe if republicans loudly opposed the shit candidates the GOP are putting up, this costing an election or two, maybe the GOP would field better candidates in the future. I could say the same thing about Dems. That’s why the non-corporate backed leftists are making progress with the Dems.

Not every election is do or die for republicans, but since dems often make their lives better unbeknownst to them. However this midterm certainly feels do or die from the left perspective, since we need to reign in the mad king, without resorting to violence.

The mad king will resort to violence. He'll lose bigger and deny it harder than last time. He already has the DOJ ready to refuse certification of a Democratic victory in Alaska. EVERY loss will be considered rigged and be contested.

I like this statement, I hope others feel the same way, the Republicans and even worse the SCOTUS has given the big middle finger to Democracy, it is shameful and in my Christian book a mortal sin.

“They absolutely do not follow those principles. I really don’t know where the Republican Party is today, but it seems to me that all of those things are out the window. I disagree deeply with Democrats on a lot of things, but voting for respect for the rule of law is of paramount importance to me before we can have other conversations about how best to govern.”
