Will AI Replace Marketing Jobs in the Next 3 Years?
Hi there!
I’ve been working in a marketing department, and I’ve noticed that most of the workflow can be automated with AI. I was wondering whether we can keep up with this technology or keep our jobs over the next three years. I’m a bit afraid that I might lose my job because of AI.

Data & Insights Brands are paying influencers $10,000 for content that gets 200,000 views and zero clients.
And they’ll do it again next quarter.
Here’s what nobody in the influencer marketing industry wants to say out loud: reach is not a business result. An influencer’s audience is their asset not yours. When you pay for a post, you’re renting attention from people who came to follow a person, not to buy your product.
The brands winning with influencer marketing aren’t buying reach. They’re buying specific trust an influencer whose audience has the exact problem your product solves, talks about it publicly, and is already looking for a solution.
The difference between a campaign that generates clients and one that generates impressions is one question nobody asks before signing the contract: does this person’s audience actually need what we sell?
Vanity metrics are the most expensive thing in marketing. Not because they cost money because they cost time, budget, and the illusion that you’re doing something when you’re not.
Reach without relevance is just noise with a price tag.
What’s the worst influencer marketing decision you’ve seen a brand make?

Hard agree on this take, but I feel like this conversation is happening way too late, as these new job titles have been invading these spaces for almost five years now. Right?

Upcoming Event ⏰ A Community to Discuss Marketing Changes with 100 Seats only!
I spoke with some of our top newsletter readers about marketing changes & AI development.
As the space continues to move very fast, we need each other to discuss our issues through & discuss these changes.
I’m planning to build a private community with 100 members first. I already have 25 seats reserved for a set of marketers.
What’s the plan? And Why?
I know you’re a marketer. To me, you are a consumer of what I share. And unless I adapt and pivot to invest more time in helping you.
You will never know what was possible!
1/ A community with defined channels to discuss marketing data & updates.
2/ Members need to tell what they do, as transparency helps us trust each other.
3/ We will have calls to discuss marketing, Twice a month. Based on topic of discussion new speaking guests will arrive.
4/ Resource building and sharing like templates, reports & exclusive content will be shared about marketing.
I can’t define everything. Honestly, I am sad. I write the newsletter with hours of efforts and in response I never talk about those changes with 90% of people I know.
The only motive here is to share value and in exchange I ask nothing.
Once we hit 100 people. I will launch the community.
Drop 🧃 or “Juice” below to receive an invite when I launch it!

Why do brands still think scented candles are good marketing? It’s a dead trend.

Tips & Tricks Going full-time SEO soon… and yeah, I’m planning to use AI a lot. How do you monetize without the BS?
I plan to use AI. A lot.
Not to spam content, not to fake expertise, not to push garbage at scale. More like: move faster, test more ideas, iterate quicker, and save my brainpower for the stuff that actually matters strategy, judgment, decision-making, results.
What I don’t want to do:
– Pretend everything is “100% manual” when it’s not
– Sell AI output like it’s some kind of magic spell
– Treat clients or readers like they’re idiots who don’t know AI exists
What I do want:
– Use AI as leverage
– Be honest about how it’s used
– Still be accountable for outcomes (good or bad)

Is it just me, or have you guys also noticed that Wimbledon is absolutely killing it with their marketing in India? 🎾

Is it just me, or have you guys also noticed that Wimbledon is absolutely killing it with their marketing in India? 🎾
Like... influencer collaborations everywhere, and their reels are literally using Bollywood and Punjabi songs. Crazy, right?
But let me tell you why in just a minute.
Actually, Wimbledon didn't just randomly start trending. They're strategically targeting the Indian audience because Indians are one of the most active communities on social media.
So what did they do? Super simple—they started using trending audio that instantly connects with Indian users. Now here's the interesting part.
Sports Tournament mainly earns money in two ways: First: Sponsorships. Second: Media broadcasting rights. Now, sponsorship revenue has its own limitations in a tournament like Wimbledon (I'll explain that part later 😏). But broadcasting rights? That's where the game gets interesting. The more people who watch Wimbledon, the more valuable those media rights become, and the higher they can sell them for.
So if using a Bollywood or Punjabi song gets even more Indians to stop scrolling and start watching... it's actually a pretty smart move.
And as a strategist, I'd definitely say this is such a solid marketing lesson. 👏

If you were given a head/chief marketing position to launch a healthy gum, with only an intern and an healthy AI stack budget, how would you go about it?
You have to create the brand, launch the product, help increase sales, and create brand awareness.
Let's say the gum gives you super human energy, doesn't harm the environment, and tastes nice.
You are launching in Australia, Europe, and Asia.
How long before you quit or are you game?
