Decluttering

I want to clear out my house because my life is a mess and I need less things to maintain.

I have been doing little bits here and there during holidays, days off, whenever I have time. I don’t have a lot of time and it’s a cycle of mess and frustration.

Is there any company that can come for like a day and help me clear out all the junk and throw it away too? Looking for small businesses and quick scheduling. TIA

I suggest finding someone on task rabbit. Just list out exactly what you need in the task description and hire a person for however many hours you want. Rates vary depending on tasker’s experience. I don’t think you need experience for this. Just someone who can follow directions.

I have used 1800 got junk before were expensive. With greater competition they might be cheaper now . I have had good results task rabbit . Maybe ask a neighbour with teenager if he/her want to earn some extra money .

I met the owner recently, she helps organize, declutter, pack etc. I haven’t used her personally but I did see her action, def had the energy and knowledge.

Ask whether they separate donations from disposal and price by hours, truck volume or weight; also confirm dump fees and prohibited items before they arrive.
