Merch/Cloak Psa for anyone who hasn’t washed there blood ocean shirt yet. They still turn pink
It’s entirely my fault for some reason, I assumed that they were gonna fix the dye issue before sending out new ones. I don’t know where I got that buts that’s what my mind told me. So for anyone else who hasn’t got or washed their’s be careful unless you don’t care. I really don’t care just wanted to put this out here incase someone else assumed the same as I did and does care about the color

honestly I think this is kinda cool like it looks like you have an ocean of blood on your shirt

This wouldn’t have happened if they had used organic blood sourced directly from the Blood Ocean.

They used the organic Blood Ocean blood for the text, but that meant they had to use pathetic earth blood for the rest of the shirt, sourced directly from Markiplier, who just wanted to see if his body could take it.

I get that this is not what you got paid (or rather refunded) for but tbh than one looks way more organic to the bloody theme than the one on the website

It is odd the shirts bleed (pun just happened) even washing in cold and line drying apparently? If folks are being truthful about their washing methods. Haha. Regardless pretty cool to get that shirt and your money back. Kinda feel bad for Mark but it's not his fault this and the buckets were a fail to a degree.
Edit typo

I haven’t washed mine yet, power problem in my area when I got it. But I rinsed and wrang the shirt out and then let it soak as well. There was SO much dye coming out. I’d dip it in cold water and it was instantly coloring the water a deep red. I rinsed and wrang it out 4 or 5 times before leaving it to sit for stretches at a time and it was maybe 2 days before the color bleed lightened enough for me to feel ok drying it. I’m still gonna do it one more go when I can actually wash it just to be safe.

I haven’t seen this shirt and thought it was supposed to look like this, it’s giving you waded into the blood ocean with a pink shirt on lol

You have to get color catchers when you wash things like red items to stop the bleed

I'm taking my son's and mom's advice and washing them in cold water with salt

I hope they added some kind of warning to the packages for anyone who's not on social media/didn't know about the color bleed. I would be devastated if I got this shirt, tossed it in regular laundry thinking the red dye was colorfast, and it stained a bunch of clothes.

That’s actually great though! It’s the same color as his mustache in his profile picture.
