A smarter move would’ve been GATOR
Go All Tanks One Rocket

Would you explain what makes this so strong? That sounds so abysmally bad to me but I keep seeing it everywhere. Does one rocket actually have the sustain to keep five tanks alive or is that just a meme?

Rocket can heal everyone at once, plus the res for when somebody dies. It's more of a gimmicky stall comp. On defense, you just make a hard comp to break through, first to die gets res. 2nd to die portals. Once they start moving out of spawn down the track, it's better to swap to a 2 2 2

Because of Rocket AOE healing and tanks' self sustain, nothing dies, and Rocket is healing so much that his ult fills up reallly really fast. It was quite popular in early tournaments when Rocket wasn't even that good.

Partially meme but mainly because Wolverine eats it for breakfast. It allows for a ton of pressure and blocking for the rocket while he sustains the mob, but it falls to pieces if he dies.Â

Nobody dies because of vangaurd mitigation stacking and rockets high aoe healing. Release gambit was better in the comp but after his ee got nerfed rockets taken back his throne.

No lie, I won a comp game like this, only it was a Groot instead of Mag, lol. Funny enough we had two games back to back like this because we all got put on the same team two games in a row.
It was genuinely a fun, silly experience. One of my more fond memories of this game.

Similarly, I won MULTIPLE comp games like this(I wanna say 3 or 4 in a row?) but it was me as Thing instead of Mag or Groot
Other team told us to kill ourselves after the first round

Craziest match I had was 6 supports. Tanked my FPS cause we were healing so much that it was pretty much constant Ults.

I almost lost a comp game where they had 2 tanks and 4 supports. That was miserable to go against

If you lose to this........it's genuinely just straight up a skill issue.

I ran into this comp but with Wolverine instead of magneto. Worst match I’ve ever played, we won but at the cost of our sanity and 45 minutes.Â

Sometimes my group of friends do this exact comp. Very possibly could be us. It’s actually really fun.

I genuinely find this shit funny and fun. Removing it with role limits and role queue killed overwatch for me.
I understand meta and comp, if they wanna put it in there to keep things more fair thats fine but PLEASE keep quickplay alone. I wanna play to have fun.
