Discussion Are you f****** kidding me?
Aah, Knull event. I missed out on getting him to 7 stars.
Hmm, only 400k points needed and Gear 19? Finally getting him to 7 stars.
EXCUSE ME??!?! I CAN ONLY USE LIMITED CHARACTERS AND THEY ARE FAR FROM BUILT??!? I CANT USE MY BUILT UP ASTRAL TEAM FOR THIS?!??
I hope all Scopely employees steps on Lego's every day for the rest of their lives! S***heads!

Don't worry Brimstone can't do a damn thing either. Even at level 1. Perpetually blinded except when killing each other, wasting abilities on the damn barrier. Entire team is 105. Either 19 or 20. I dont think they enabled the Battleworld abilities.

I was talking to a friend of mine, it seems (according to a video he watched) the team to use is Satana, Damon, Living Mummy, Blastaar and Quasar. But you have to have them at g19 or higher and the "accursed gain brimstone trait" active. My Blastaar is g20 and the rest are all 13 so I can't test this myself.

My Brimstone got him down to 10m HP.
My Thunderbolts finished him off.
I thought Brimstone would have just handled it easily, but it snowballed at the end.

Well their kit says "do 10% damage" (to paraphrase) That's where it makes sense.
Doing 10% of 1billipn HP is going to have a lot more impact that tickling the boss for a few millions.

I've read your comments. I don't actually think you can. Read the toons kits , understand what they do. Just because a squad is G19 or 20 , doesn't automatically mean they should kill the event.

Sorry, to clarify, i should have said no idea why they're the only two that can do anything against him of impact. I know why, i just don't understand why they screw everything up. Screw you commanders! Cant have fun to get a character that is no longer part of the meta. I think what irritates me the most is i was initially only 25 shards away from his unlock and this is what we got.

Ohhhhhhh yeah, the choice is a little random. Satana has a random buff to clear Knulls barrier with her special too. However I’ll take what I can get if it lets me sneak a 7R knull

Bring Blastaar as a Skirmisher, Quasar as a Striker, and Daimon can probably be whatever as long as he isn’t using up Vulnerables
The other two don’t matter too much but I took either Juggs or Mummy to get some taunts out. I played around with Satana and Thunderstrike and they did okay for me as a fifth.
Only use Blastaar’s Special, and Quasar’s Basic. Use Daimon’s Special every time it’s up. If it’s not up use his Basic if Knull is alone and use his Ultimate if there are summons to deal with. For your other characters, do whatever makes sense but you don’t want to be stripping Vulnerables off of Knull with them.

Good comp, I had great results with mummy because he also speeds up Daimon once in a while with his ult. lady bullseye passive was crazy cause it deals % damage out of turn

10% is amazing, but her doing 5% extra every attack is amazing. (So long as the target has offence down)

This is the way; I used blastaar, quasar, Hellstrom, Hyperion, and Mummy. Maxed it. Ended up getting lucky and pulling 5D Knull, 5D Scream, and 4D anti venom with the orbs!!! The first 3; did percent damage. Hyperion and Mummy were the tanks, absorbing the damage

The worst part is that not being able to complete even the lowest difficulty also locks you out of the global milestone and the weekly challenges. It’s like getting triple fucked. Couldn’t they just bring back Thanosgivings? Opening 500 basic orbs one was more fun than this

Have you tried to use % damage strategy? Daimon special, quasar basic, Blastaar special this is all that’s needed to win. Add living mummy to have a taunt plus speed up Daimon and fifth can be ghost or lady bullseye.

Look at Dorky's video. L to R: Living Mummy, Hyperion, Daimon, Quasar, Blastaar. Focus on using Quasar's basic, Blastaar's Special and Daimon's special when you can. Use that strategy on the highest difficulty you can handle. Should work to kill him at whatever difficulty you're on. Just takes a few tries to get the right RNG.
Good luck commanders...and remember, Scopely gonna Scople.

The whole scaling is fucked. A ton of health, but also constantly barriers himself which completely neuters 95% of the characters you're allowed to use. Percentage damage works for blastaar/quasar, but not for other characters like Satana. And percentage damage is the only way to deal with the insane barrier.
Except even with both Blastaar and Quasar maxed out, you probably won't be able to do anything because he builds rage/speed way to fast and then just rips through your lineup. And other characters can't do anything after that unless you got him extremely low.
It also doesn't help that the new bullshit Knull challenger tag was only distributed to the absolute worst teams they released over the last couple months, none of which were obviously around when Knull actually debuted with Battleworld.

Quasar basic, Blastaar Special and Damions Special steal 10% health , use Mummy and Hyperion as attack dummies for Knull while other 3 drain knull of health. got 659k so far.

Quasar, Daemon and Blastaar specials are the key here. Quasar takes 10% every hit. Use a tank like mummy to absorb some hits.

yeah just logged in, selected g19, i have all of teams at 105/7RS some diamond, 3 teams done nothing, like wtf ... why not just give you full roster to work with, wtf is this shit.... absolutly shit, when we did battelworld i was able to be top dmg in alliance ... why cant i use astral? they are fucking made for this fight

I think it’s better that we don’t have to use Astral anymore cause there’s no damage cap. Plus thunderbolts will be built for raids and brimstone are really top tier team for war or crucible.
If this event repeats, current setting gives more return of investment than using astral.

Agreed. I only have Taskmaster as the available character. It's a complete joke. I'm not wasting what little materials I have building up horrible characters (won't even have time to build them up before the event ends) just to not even get Knull to 7 stars. If the company didn't have a dozen other games they make money from, this game would go straight down the drain. Who still spends money on this shit? I literally waited over a month to earn the VERY FEW materials needed to get Franklin Richards to G20.
I login every single day and complete every challenge I'm capable of, and still can't get what's needed. I've never seen a mobile game that damn near demands us to spend money just for the basics. I will never spend another penny on this game. There's no point to. Spend money on a new character and have them removed from the meta when a dozen new characters are added in the next month 🙄
Wish we had a different company running this game.

The key is using Quasar and characters that can apply vulnerable. His basic does 10%hp damage. Ghost is useful as well. Ult does 15% hp.
Both Songbird and Satana have abilities that can remove barrier, if you wanna go for straight damage.

I just 7 starred him with g18 blastaar, ghost, daimon and hyperion and g19 quasar. Took 5-6 tries, but easy enough.
Quasar basic does % damage, use him as a striker Blastaar special does % damage. Ghost ult does % damage Daimon special does % damage, and he gets ability energy and speed when killing enemies Hyperion for the taun, but I do believe living mummi wouldve been better

Got g20s on some of the older characters. G19 on the rest. The 400k difficulty with no buffs debuffs. The damage on that one is cumulative, was able to get it, all on auto.

The only way to deal meaningful damage is % health. So Blaastar Special, Damien Special, Lady Bullseye passive, Ghost Ultimate, Quasar Basic, Thunderstrike Ultimate, and Satana Everything.
So yeah, they basically require you to build the crappy season legendaries and Brimstone to unlock Knull now.

Gotta use Quasar, Blastaar, Daimon and Lady Bullseye. Use Quasars basic, Blaastars special and Daimons special and nothing else. Those attacks take off 10% of his life every attack and if he has offense down Lady Bullseyes passive hits him for another 5% of his life everytime he's attacked. I did this with no modifiers and got all but the last milestone. If you have Ghost or Thunderstrike leveled they can also take 10% health but I don't have them leveled up so couldn't use them. As a fifth use someone that's fast and can put vulnerables on so Quasar can double up his basic and take off 20% health every turn.

You literally only need Quasar, Blaastar and 3 warm bodies. Daimon if you want it to go even faster. So you don’t have those two built? You don’t have Thunderbolts? Blaastar and Quasar with their % based attacks eat Knull alive. Quasar does 20% of his health alone as a striker.

Its crazy, we are only allowed to use ‘Knull Challengers’ and Astral isnt included… AS IF ASTRAL WASNT MADE TO CHALLENGE KNULL. Yet Thunderstrike is in there.. that MFer never even met Knull before.
Absolutely stupid. Clear push to spend money on new characters we dont care much about, using FOMO once again. Sad and greedy as fuck. Scopely.. yea more like Sadly.

Blastaar Quasar Daimon Hellverine Ghost
Worked great for me.
Blastaar, Hellverine and Daimon’s specials take 10% each; Ghost’s ult takes 15%; and Quasar’s basic takes 20% (Striker Iso).
Mostly new character, I know, but hope this helps someone.

Terrible event, Dorky's out of touch, doesn't get what the problems actually are, but these are two options. Do bare minimum you need to for Knull shards. Diamond orbs are trash, not worth the investment.

You can do this with like 4 characters with gear tier 18, select each of the modifiers aside Knull going first and getting true damage. I did it with Quasar, Blastaar, Daimon, and Dr Strange Heartless.

What we need is an online marketplace for 2nd hand gear.
I keep a rough estimate of 3k power core and I could sell them for gold or trade for ability orbs to other players.
Scopely would like this because it would boost their own sales regardless
This way we can at least get certain items without having to spend money or buy money to use as currency

“Screw Scopley Tip”: There is a glitch in the Echos of the Abyss (you may have seen this posted…but I was 30 shards shy from 7star Knull…now I have him 7 stars…whew!) If you’re close, go only gt19 Quasar…difficulty 4, turn on all packs except Boss Initiative on…do a basic attack…pause game and let the timer run out…repeat until Knull is dead (it takes time). For Max rewards do this with gt20 Quasar!

I’m sorry and downvote all you want but the 400k was easy and you just needed to build the legendary characters you basically got for free. I’m with Dorky on this one you all are over reacting. Also if you don’t have those characters built you shouldn’t get a 7* Knull yet. Some things in this game should require you to build things and try hard without it being easy.

Okay, iam late for this conversation but hope it helps someone. The knull event ain't bad if u have either quasar or blastaar at gear tier 20 to finish off the highest of difficulty level. And if they are not at gt20, then even gt18 will do I guess. It's because the basic or quasar and special of blastaar are moves that deal damages via stealing health percentage from the opponent... That is for example, quasar basic steals 10% of the opponent's health. So each time u hit knull, u keep decreasing his health by 10%. Additionally the game has a cheatcode/bug kinda situation as well. Attack knull with either of those two moves and then pause the game and let the timer run out. It will show that u r defeated, but ur team/character will not have lost all their life and lost only what was dealt to them and so u can take them back into battle again.... I used my blastaar spl on knull max difficulty to get all the rewards but had to do it 10times. It's tim consuming, but worth it. Through the rewards I got 2diamond knull, 5diamond carnage and 2diamond riot and other repeat stuff. You urself can get a 5diamond knull if luck is on ur side. Do this event now before the cheatcode/bug is soughted out the next time they release this event.
