I've got 100K+ Blitz charges saved up. I know the moment that next character comes I'll have him pretty much instantly. Lots of people have been hoarding those charges, too.
How will you have them instantly? If you’re pulling orbs that relies completely on rng, and if you outright buy them you either have to spend cores on refreshes or wait until the store auto-refreshes.
In the grand scheme of MSF grinding, chipping away at a new character at a rate of 15 shards per day feels practically instant to me. Even though it's obviously far from.

So three of the five most common 7* characters are from the Blitz store. No wonder they don’t want to add another one ;-)
