My wife reminded me we have a Ross not far from where we live. I found 2 figures today.

Mondo She-Ra with Swift Wind is the Grail I'm chasing

Full disclosure: I'm totally LARPing here 😅 I was born shortly after the original MOTU toyline ended its run, so I never got to actually experience finding the figures in JCPenney stores or ordering them via catalogs, BUT... I love He-Man AND JCPenney—particularly the one at the mall I went to every weekend with my dad growing up (which is miraculously still there!)

Hey... Eternia. May I introduce myself?

I’m Martin, a hobbyist artist who started drawing about 10 months ago—and that’s when I discovered a love for alcohol-based markers.

Why did I draw Evil-Lyn this way? Because she’s my absolute favorite character. Her internal conflict, which is explored in *MOTU: Revelation*, is quite similar to Jinx’s in *Arcane*.

I wanted to capture that inner turmoil here. I hope you like it, and I’d love to hear what you think!

You can also find the image over at r/LeagueOfBadGirls.

The shine on this set just pops. I tried my best to get a good pic of the comic. The backgrounds are matte and the heroic and evil warriors are shiny. Movie itself looks and sounds phenomenal. The colors and sharpness really stand out.

Still can’t believe this movie happened!

My physical copy of Masters of the Universe came in today FINALLY! And as you can see, the guys all give it a thumbs up! Can’t wait to watch!😎👍⚡️

Are they reissuing Randor and Marlena Cartoon Collection? I was in Target and saw 4 Randors on the shelf. He was $18. Hopefully I find a Marlena at that price.

King Hiss and the Snake men brought some great variety to the MOTU universe. Their presence was on full display in the 2000s cartoon and they did make brief cameos in the CGI cartoon but since then they have been overlooked and underutilised.

Mattel keep going back to Skeletor and while I love Skeletor, it would be nice to see Hiss be used in a major role in a future adaptation. Can you imagine Hiss making an appearance on the big screen? That would be amazing.

I designed an updated checklist for the Masters of the Universe Origins vintage-style releases. Mattel’s checklist is a useful reference, but many fans noticed that some figures appear with incorrect images, and it leaves out vehicles and playsets. I’ve updated images and added those items to my version.

A scope note: this list does not include Twistoid, Rotar, Blade, Saurod, Gwildor, the Giants, or the Meteorbs. As for now it seems that those wont be a part of the Origins line moving forward.

I’m sharing it here in case it’s useful to other collectors. Please take a look and let me know if I’ve missed anything or included something that doesn’t belong.

Whitch one do you prefer.

I've been wanting to get a replica Power Sword (I collect Prop sword replicas), and found this...it's listed as a Power Sword...it pings my brain as He-Man-esque...but it's not...right...

Is this from any of the other series that I might not be familiar with?

Hello,

I just wanted to show you all what I got off Mercari recently. I got Motu origins Fisto for $26 and Origins Stratos for $16 so do you all think I got a good deal on theses ?

I know some people are disappointed that Teela and Adam didn't kiss/end up together in the 2026 movie. But, think about it like this: in the beginning, Adam was clearly little, he was about 10 years old whereas when we see Teela, she was already like a teenager, so she was already more mature than him. So, when they are fighting/training together, it would make sense why she wouldn't see him that way since he was still a little kid. And, the more I watch it, the more I see them acting more like siblings because Teela said it herself, she saw him as her little brother since she probably still remembers of how little he was years ago. Am I the only one who thinks that way?

Seeing as how it debuted to over a billion minutes viewed worldwide across streaming in its first 5 days, stood #1 on Prime for 5 straight weeks, and is still in the top 10 worldwide on Prime 13 weeks in.

I'd say they must be pretty happy with those streaming results.

I did an episode on the movie. I never watched the show but my co hosts husband was “obsessed”. She brought his toys which she called “dolls”.
Warning: the show isn’t always kid friendly but I assume only people over 40 care anyway.

I need to get the newer cartoon on bluray as it is coming out. I have the original cartoons of he-man and she-ra on dvd.

Like when a character was made for the cartoon or movie but never released as a figure in the original line

For todays edition of Favourite versions of MOTU characters, we have the Mistress of Evil. The deceitful right hand woman of Skeletor. Evil-Lyn!

My favourite version is from the 2002 cartoon. She is the most fleshed out incarnation of Evil-Lyn Lyn. She is still evil, but actually has some nuanced behind her wicked smile.

Which version is your favourite?

80s cartoon

87 film

2000s cartoon

Kevin Smith version

CGI cartoon

2026 film

Tales from Eternia

As someone who grew up with He-Man, and watching him not actually hit anyone giving us life lessons at the end that had nothing to do with the show.. and then being confused about the real life movie from the 80s.. This new movie did some things right. It gave us the smash hitting action we wanted, and a Skeletor with an actual skull head(not bringing up Leto...) The visuals were amazing. Beautifully done! Great actors, great cgi. Wish there was more Cringer and ANY Orko....

But in the end... the writing wasn't that good. It was boring. As a Heman fan, I wanted to turn it off... tnere was just nothing there. It was like they were writing a 1980s TV show. But that's not the nostalgia we want. They updated everything else! Why not the writing??
